Man, she can do a wig out like nobody’s business. I had chills watching the last two scenes. Cool editing as well!
it’s unfortunate; she’s a good actress, but the coming and going of these return stars irks the hell out of me. I know the fans love their regular actors in their roles, but the the open-door policy of here today, gone tomorrow, then back again later gets on my nerves. Reminds me of the ending of The Carol Burnette Show: "Seems we just get started, then it’s time we have to say ‘so-long’ (or words to that effect)!"
Kate Mansi only signed to do a set number of episodes with a plan that May would be her last month on screen. That’s why she was gone to Africa for that long period of time.
Kate M was leaving. Guess from seeing yesterday’s show, she’ll go back to the treatment center. Was it her choice to only do a few episodes? Surely do hate to see her go.
What really gets me though is when some of these characters leave they get this big tearful sendoff only to return months later. But the worst is the resurrecting from the dead of WAY too many people.
Was NEVER a fan of Mansi – I prefered Marci in the role… tho I do agree that Kate plays nuts fairly well. They lost me w/this character after she called RAPE on Austin and banged EJ. Can’t do all that and be holier than thou.
TOTALLY agree Patti on the back and forth. It’s the same w/the "death" scenes. It’s hard to get emotionally invested in someone leaving when they "die" b/c we just KNOW they’ll be back. And I get that’s a soap staple – but c’mon… this Rolf thing is ABSURD. Tho I did crack up when Jake/Stefan said "Rolf? What is that? A muppet." LOL
I’m tired of seeing Chad and Abigail together and happy for five minutes and then they are torn apart. I guess now Chad will have to fight for DiMera alone against whoever is causing trouble for him.
now we have Vivian on her way back, as well as Chloe. I don’t know what for or how long, but I imagine since Jake is now on screen, the Vivian return can be explained there somehow. Maybe Vivian is the one responsible for drugging Abigail. Wouldn’t be surprising! Also, Brandon Beemer is on his way back as Sean Brady, but that’s probably something to do with the return of his daughter, Claire. Ugh…..here we go again! CALLING ALL NEW WRITERS…..ANY AND ALL WELCOME TO APPLY!!!!
