    I found that scene so far from believable I was wondering what Marlena had been smoking.  I can’t imagine she’d ever give Kate the time of day much less be that pleasant to her.  And suggest coffee???

    And I have to say, as much as I dislike Lauren as a bitch, I like her even less trying to play nice.  I could have accepted her if she had come off as phoney and condecending but it wasn’t even that.  It was like Lauren was having a difficult time saying her lines.

    I agree! I posted alittle about this on the annex board. I just said I couldn’t believe marlena and Kate acting like friends or something like that. I like Kate playing nice but I think she will turn back to evil Kate to help Will get hiis baby away from nick.

    I kind of liked Kate being nice and I didn’t think it seemed forced at all even when she backtracked when she was nasty about Sami. Maybe Rafe is having a positive influence on her. I did think it was very funny when Marlena told her how great she looked and invted her to coffee to tell her her secret, LOL.

     I kind of remember them being friends before, or at least being cordial. I really liked their interaction. As people get older, they sometimes become more mellow. Right now, Marlena needs friends and people in her life, and I have no problem with it being Kate. Maybe Rage IS a good influence on Kate.

    Kate being nice.  That’s like making Jennifer evil.  Just won’t work.

    very good friends in the early days.  Marlena was Kate’s psychiatrist at one time.  I think the two of them coming together now is the perfect time for them to reunite, not only for Will but there’s this possibility in my mind that Kate will be a big help to Marlena when she has to fight off Kristen’s determination to ruin her life, and believe me Kristen will continue to seek her revenge on Marlena and John.  All of those crocodile tears from Kristen didn’t fool me for a minute.  Marlena can back off Brady, whether she agrees with his choices or not; it won’t stop Kristen from continuing to go after her, and I think for as much as Kate hates Kristen, she will be the perfect ally for Marlena in the upcoming weeks.  I’m looking forward to it.
