I just read that Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Drake Hogestyn has begun taping again at Days this week though he won’t be on screen until early 2014 since Days tapes so far ahead. Haven’t there been these same reports in the past that have proven to be false?
I personally hope this is true and he does come back even though he acted like such an a$$ last time around. I’d like to see Marlena ignore him for a while and make him work hard to regain her trust again.
I always loved John and Marlena, but his last trip around was so very disappointing to J&M fans. The writers practically destroyed them; but, a comeback with GOOD writing and storyline (if that’s even possible) and a somewhat skeptic Doc still very hurt and confused over John’s actions would be nice to see before putting them back together.

I thought he was coming back? Does anyone know if this is true? The first post was ages ago in October.
to the screen in March (not sure of exact date). I know I can’t wait. Always loved John and Doc, and with Kristen coming back, I’m looking forward to the chaos for everyone involved in this huge umbrella storyline that is sure to be coming. Meanwhile, see below for update from DH.
nobody else calls her Doc. Roman called her that long before John came on the scene.
You know, unless they intend to keep John around, I don’t much care anymore if they bring him back or not. And he was my favorite character for years and years and years. But they have practically destroyed him for me so they’d better write this one right or I’m going to be really steamed.
