Yeah, I was wondering about that too. His eye looked really swollen! I know how they write real life injuries in all the time, so I wonder what happened to him?
another good make-up job. Can you even picture Victor keeping up with a six-year old, let alone ice skating with her?
Why make him look like he was ice skating and he hurt himself? It doesn’t fit into any SL currently going on. So I agree with others, it has to be something that happened in real life and they made up some excuss so he can keep being on the show while healing.
a head injury of some sort (based on the band aid) and the sunglasses cover the black eye that follows a blow to the forehead, would be my guess. Considering his age, a ‘fall’ comes easily!
Awww… poor John! Glad that he still went to work instead of took time off for it. Now that’s a trooper!
could it be he had surgery to remove skin cancer or something like that and the black eye just be because it was close to where the surgery spot was? Like I said, it’s just a guess but he’s out in the sun and it wouldn’t be that uncommon to get a spot that has to be removed. I didn’t see him without the sunglasses so I don’t know what the rest of his face/eyes looked like. Maybe a little sensitivity to the bright studio lights? Could be a skiing accident?
Only because if he was going to do something like that he would have done it when he wouldn’t be on-air as much. During one of their long breaks. he would have scheduled it in advance so that he would not be on-air while healing.
I wish someone would make a statement so all us Nosey-Rosies could put our curiosity to rest. Don’t they know we won’t let this go until we find out?
My guess is a minor car accident. It’s pretty obvious he has stitches under that tape. Hitting his head on the steering wheel might do that, as well as give him a black eye. Although, just having a black eye doesn’t call for sunglasses. I’m wondering if he didn’t have some kind of eye injury also.
