how bad the stuff we’re seeing now was and that’s why that guy was fired? I have to say that right now, the show is really not capturing my interest and it seems like a lot of others aren’t into the show either. Since they are so far ahead in taping, they let the guy go right around the beginning of what we’re seeing now I’m guessing. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
awful writing when there was that mass exodus of viewers when Sami and Rafe2 did the nasty the first time. Now, the spoilers say that she refuses to sleep with him and he gets very angry. I wonder like you what the timeline of all of this stuff is being that they tape so far ahead. How much damage control can they actually do with that in mind.
1) Galen Gering tweeted that the Rafe/R2 storyline will be winding down quicker than originally planned. Look for a meltdown of this horrible idea right around or right after Easter;
2) Carly is going to suffer a complete breakdown and will turn to some pretty desperate measures. Look for a phone conversation between her and Nicholas Alamain soon (this will be a new storyline for Carly — not Bo and Hope);
3) Nikki Alamain is either already, or very close to being cast; but, unfortunately it will not be Victor Webster. Look for Nick tol be returning to Salem soon though. Although they have a phone conversation first, Nick wants nothing to do with his mother right now.
4) Once Nicole Walker DiMera discovers the truth, all hell will break loose and Nicole will be in the driver’s seat. Look for the "Nicole Walker Scorned" to be a doozie of a storyline; and, finally,
5) A poster on DR claims to have a very, VERY reliable source who claims that the gay character who we already know on the show will be:
Chad DiMera – Personally, I’m still on the fence as to whether or not this one is spumor, spoiler or rumor (I tend to believe it’s true though); but OMG, if it’s true, I want to watch Stefano’s face when his son’s sexual preference is revealed. Would Stefano stand by him, or would he disown him? I’ll be watching Chad closely. He does seem to push the women in his life away from him when things get too hot in the love department. He did it to Mia and now to Abbey. He genuinely had a hard time dealing with the fact that Mia was even pregnant with his child, but I never saw Chad in a heterosexual relationship for too long, now that I think about it. Perhaps he just cannot bring himself to come out now realizing he’s a DiMera for fear of the consequences. Guess we’ll have to wait and see on this one.
Take this one with a grain of salt, but the rest are actual spoilers. So, I’m so looking forward to something new that I’ll give these writers the chance to make a believer out of me that this show with these writers can regain my confidence as well as my interest. Please don’t make me leave you.
Wow! I’m actually looking forward to these! Esp the end to this R2 CRAP! YAY! They all sound so much more interesting than what we have now! I think that would be a good SL for Chad to be gay. That wouldnt bother me so much like if they would turn Will gay. there’s no telling how Stefano would react to that! I cant wait to see how Sami is going to reacto to finding out the truth to all this. or wonder if she ever will. Also REALLY looking forward to Nicole SL and the Carly SL!
I’d read that Carly turns to drugs and we’ll see the beginings on Monday when she injects herself with an anti-anxiety med that was meant for a patient. Hopefully Maggie will be there to sponsor and help her. I know she’s too old for Brady but it would be nice to see him actually be able to help her with this also.

Kill me now, unless you can convince me that it is NOT the intention of these writers to have Melanie try and get into the pants of every single guy in Salem. Wake up, Brady, you idiot.#4 – Seems like she’s been sleep walking for the last three weeks (or is an entire month already now) ~ Nicky has always been one of the smartest cookies in the box until now…every time she walks in on Taylor and EJ, it’s like "LaaaaDeeeeDaaaa….really, what are you guys doing? Oh, you’re getting along – oh goody!" I hope Nichole has learned a thing or two from Kate, Stefano, and Vivan about revenge and will come out with guns blazing.
#1 – Think Easter is at the end of April this year, and sweeps are in May so I see R&R2 story line playing right up to the end of the torment – just like the writers said it would. No early repreive at all for us!
#3 – I can’t remember Nicholas Aleman – I’m sure he’s been on the show in the last 20 years that I’ve been watching, but what someone said about bonuses for the writers every time they bring new people on must be true…(even though this is an old character).
#2 – I’m sure Carly will get some help with Maggie, Brady and perhaps even Chloe could help her when they start making her a druggie.
As for your #5 – I’m still holding to my original comment in another post on this subject.

because GG tweeted at first that it was supposed to go 8 weeks, and it was ten weeks and he was still taping it with "no end in sight" and was supposed to go into summer. Now he officially said it’s about to break when Faye overhears Stefano, E.J. and R2’s conversation about what they did, and the whole thing starts unraveling much quicker. I really do think they did a rewrite cutting it shorter due to its huge unpopularity with the fans and now is expected to wrap up by the end of April. I know what you mean, though; it’s still another month of torture for us, but at least we can begin to see the light at the end of this very long and dark tunnel.

I’ve noticed it from other posters and this morning it seemed to be stuck processing my post so I X’d out and posted again. It got stuck processing the post again so I shut that window. When I went back later there was a double post.
and your fingers have to be fast – so sometimes – my fingers click one time too many times when I hit save and computer is slow – so when I don’t realize it – then it’s posted twice…sorry for that!
put it past them…just to shut us up! When have you ever known them (the show) to do something as expensive as a rewrite and bring the actors back in (along with the all the crews), and change a story line for just little ol’ us – the die-hard fans?
We had to sit through Marlena and the devil, the slasher/ Melaswen (or however you spelled it) SL, Kate’s kids from space, Vivy in the coffin and all those other ridiculous SL’s and they (show) weren’t in nearly as dire straight with the cash flow like they are now with the economy – so if they have one actor or two say – "we listened to you, we heard you and we’re going to do something about it" (now who else does that remind me of – hint – they all live in Washington D.C. ) – and change the story line…they know we’re not going to go anywhere…I think this is a red herring.
