actually joke with EJ regarding what their pact should include. I don’t remember the exact words, but she laughed when she said something about no more phony replacements. I was appalled when she found that funny! She was enraged when she became aware that she had been sleeping with FauxRafe! She considered it rape at the time and wanted to choke EJ and now she finds it comical!? These writers are as insensitive as the old ones!
I agree with you. I really can’t stomach Sami right now. That she’s making goo goo eyes at EJ makes me ill. Joking about all the horrid things that are ‘now in the past’. And today, when Rafe brought up Sidney’s kidnapping, she said something about you’re really reaching into the past–it was hard to understand what exactly she said. But that is the problem–she should never forget the awful things that EJ has done to her and those precious children that he claims to love so much. If they hadn’t had him do so many disgusting things to her I could possibly see them as a couple. But they just make me sick right now and I hit the FF button regularly when they are on.
I, too, think I’d be more accepting of this relationship if he hadn’t done so many unthinkable and despicable actions against Sami and her children. How could a woman ever, EVER dismiss the cruel sexual impositions that a man has done to her!? When Rafe brought up the kidnapping of Sydney, I thought he’d also mention his replacement in her life of the FauxRafe. It was almost like the writers didn’t want to keep that in the forefront of the viewers minds as they begin this debacle of reuniting Sami and EJ. I know I’ve said this before, but it remains an insult to every female viewer how often they just brush aside blatant sexual assaults against the females in this show.
I posted something similar the other day about not being able to stomach Sami and that I, too, fast forward much of her scenes with all of her men. I did watch yesterday’s scenes though and it was pretty sickening as usual. I think she is worse than EJ right now because he is the "bad" guy but she KNOWS it and is still pursuing him anyway after all the awful, horrendous things he’s done to her. I really thought she was going to give up men for a while, concentrate on her kids, and her career and get her head on straight.
Sami and EJ are, for me, unthinkable together. I shudder everytime she makes eyes at him. He is such a despicable character that the only person that deserves him is Nicole. I like them together.
for Sami and E.J. I wouldn’t mind them giving E.J. a relationship of his own, as long as it’s not Sami. I know that E.J. has some pretty awful plans in the works, storyline wise, so I guess we will see him welcome his return to the dark side, along with the rest of the DiMeras, …. one big happy family, which will include Kristen and Chad.
