Participant.. they showed Alice’s empty chair. I started to cry big time, then realized I had a conference call starting in 2 minutes and had to pull it together.

ParticipantI liked Julie sitting in the chair earlier in the show with Ciera on her lap when Theo gave her the present. But at the end when they showed the empty chair I am like you, I started crying big time. I did miss them showing the tree and stopping at other’s ornaments. They didn’t show Addie’s ornament or Lucas’ so many ornaments were skipped this year.

Participantwhy do they still have the Horton home? And who’s living there? It looks like it has been occupied since Gran’s death.

Participantto settle Alice’s estate, and that she’s currently living there. Since she mentioned earlier to someone in the Pub (was it Carly) that she might now be staying longer than expected, and perhaps even for good, I think Jennifer is living in Gram’s house.

ParticipantDid anyone else feel like it was kind of an omen of where things are going that Rafe presented all the ornaments of Sami’s kids on the tree and stated it would be their own new tradition in the future? Swing away from the Hortons to the Brady family now?

ParticipantMarlena one year way way back when he put the kids’ photos on either an ornament or the tree topper (I’m pretty sure it was a tree topper.

Participantthe Christmas ornaments being hung. At least they could have taken a few minutes to scan the entire tree with the camera in lieu of so few of the family being there. At least the viewers could have tapped into our memories of each of the characters who were not there. And then, no reading of the Christmas Story at the hospital…shame on the writers!

ParticipantI will dearly miss the Christmas show. It looks like the sun has set on the whole Christmas at the Hortons episodes.

Participanttree and hang the ornaments and play a Christmas carol like Silent Night or something in the back ground and then fade to the family photos? Guess next year we will all be sharing YouTube videos of it – let’s all plan on it because it looks like we are not going to get anything like a Christmas show from the Day’s Grinches!
