Going for my surgery tomorrow morning.

Wish me luck. I will be so happy to get rid of this horrible pain I get all the time. I’ll probably only stay overnight so will be back here (I’m sure) sometime Friday. (Don’t talk about me while I’m gone!) :o)

Seems like they have left you in pain for a long time now…seems like two weeks or more since you first mentioned, but glad you are going to get some (a lot) of relief from it! Will be praying for you a lot! Let us know when ya get back so we don’t worry! All the best! Hugs and love to ya!!!

They called me five minutes before I was ready to leave for the hospital and cancelled the surgery. Now it’ll be scheduled sometime next week. Grrrrr…. I’ll just keep all your good wishes on hold. Thanks you guys, you’re really special.

just knowing you have to put up another week or so with that kind of pain has to be more than disappointing; I would be p.o.’d and on the phone with somebody. But, yes, what can you do? Anyway, best of luck when you finally do have the surgery. Just keep thinking…..pain free….pain free….pain free, and also that all of our thoughts and prayers are with you.

after spending a week with my son and his family, and learned about your planned and then postponed surgery. You, your familly and the surgery team are all in my prayers, both now and whenever they decide to operate. I know you are very strong, and I pray that you will continue to have strength and courage. Just the same old, nothing to eat or drink after midnight. And it wasn’t until 1:30 that I found out it had been postponed. I couldn’t wait to get to the ‘fridge and pull out some food.
