Thank you to the writers for mixing in flashbacks of Tom and Alice.  I thought it was interesting in the first segment when Mac was holding the phone he wasn’t wearing a wedding band while Frances was. Does anyone know if this was normal for him?

From what Doug said during the lighting of the cake, I suppose it really was the 50th anniversary of when Julie came back to Salem. I was watching the show that long ago, so the flashbacks were really special to me. Don’t know anything about the wedding band, though.

The show used to be so romantic and funny and fun to watch. This was a reminder of that. Excellent!!!

Also Lucas’s send off was done well, just wished more people said goodbye and I do hope he returns someday!

Holy cow!  IRL Susan is 75 and Bill is 93.  He’s been on Days for 48 years.  Though I’m not fond of the character "Julie", both are fine actors.  I hope I’m as sharp mentally as Bill should I reach his age!

I like Bryan as an actor and feel that he hasn’t been utilized property in years.

to Susan Seaforth Hayes.  Yes, that was really her 50th anniversary with DOOL.  She was beautiful then, and she still is.  And, Bill is as handsome now as he was then.  Love those dimples!  Wonderful looking back at Alice and Tom as well.  We could use more of these kind of flashbacks to the old "Days"!

I cannot believe how BH is still handsome and sharp and physically adept at this age. Hope he has many years yet on this drama!

there was a hint he would be back. Just the way Julie spoke with him about Salem always being home.

Its been a long time since I just loved an episode. I loved the flashbacks with Tom and Alice, and Doug and Julie. My 14 year old was amazed at how spry Doug is even in his 90s. May we all be like him in our older age.

50 years ago very few men wore wedding rings. Then it became very popular among young men. My dad never wore one
