ParticipantWell played by both and very realistic. Nice writing and acting here.

ParticipantCaroline will always love Sami, no matter what she’s done. I did love, however, the way she explained to Sami her bout with Alzheimer’s and how she had no intention on letting it affect her life with her family and would be there with and for them as long as she could. Great writing—great acting.

ParticipantPeggy may possibly be in the early stages of the disease herself. I haven’t seen any rumors to that effect or anything, I just wondered.
I also noticed she is starting to look a little frail. Yesterday she looked like she was a little unsteady when she walked and when they left Will’s room, she was holding on to Sami. She’s almost 83 years old so it IS understandable. It is so amazing how long some of these actors stay with the soaps. They must be fairly happy there.
I see she’s also let her hair grow out a little. I think I like it shorter better but maybe it’s just a temporary thing for her.

Participanttaxing on anyone in that age. Not just on camera but the stress of learning lines, just the routine of getting to the studio. etc. I think we’re just seeing affects of aging on someone who looks not in pristine health. I applaud her for the effort.

Participantfor his age. The same holds true for John Anniston (Victor Kiriakis). The great Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor on Y&R) just passed away earlier this month at the age of 84, and her last scenes on the show were somewhat foreshadowing. Y&R did a beautiful tribute to her life yesterday, and her last scene on the show was brilliant, but you could definitely tell that she could hardly make it up the stairs.

ParticipantRemember how they did Alice after she had her stroke. She was either sitting down, using a cane or leaning on someone/something. I’m not saying Peggy had a stroke but age and injury might have a lot to do with it. Plus she had something wrong with her foot a while back that I’m sure was real and written into the script.
