    Congrats to DOOL for all their Daytime Emmy Noms: Chad, Victor, Deimos, Joey, the show, writers, directors and other technical noms.

    Now my critique….where the hell is Hope and Nicole? No actress from DOOL for lead actress. None for Younger Actress. No Adrienne, No Gabi – Kate Mansi was nominated so maybe the competition time period is flukey. But, ahem, here it comes…Joey??? What story? On the run? This way and that way with Jade? No thanks. And Deimos….chewing up the scenery whilst twirling his mustache…he’s just a notch under Andre as cartoonish.

    Tickled to death for Victor though – that’d really be going out in a blaze of glory if he won!!!

    Thoughts?

    They nominate themselves so… *shrug*  It hold very little weight with me.

    ….sorry, I don’t think so…It’s done like any entertainment guild/association/etc. The actors may submit reels/scenes they feel are nomination-worthy, but the reels are screened by a panel and nominations come from the screening panel. Then actors vote for actors, actresses for actresses, writers for writers, then all vote for the show….just like the Oscars. Got this from the website.

     or they didn’t submit at all.  Hmmm…interesting!  No one that comes quickly to my mind did anything that outstanding to even warrant a submission, except for Kate Mansi.
