Maybe it’s b/c it’s what I do for a living OR b/c I live in NYC where cell phone use is just as common as bottled water LOL… I think, to a degree, cell phones have become so multi functional that it seems like we are using the more because, well, we are…. no more maps – you have a phone. no more camera – you have a phone. no more payphone – you have a phone. And remember – these phones connect us to the web which was not in existence at one point in time.
However, I agree when it’s time to put them away. First few dates with someone… a Knicks game
, amusement parks… like, live a little. Totally agree. that you have to be here now when it’s so cold. Hopefully you will still be here when it goes back to typical SoFl weather.
My next door neighbor’s daughter just had her bat mitzvah and had relatives come down from New York to stay with her. A bunch of them couldn’t get back home because of the storms so the poor woman is stuck with all those houseguests. But, of course, they’re loving it.
