     It looks like Days will be pre-empted for the funeral of Aretha Franklin in the Detroit area.  Does anyone know if the program will be shown during the night, at 1:30 or 2:20 am? Isn’t it shown at night if it’s pre-empted locally?

    Days was pre-empted on Wednesday for John McCain’s service. They did run it at 2AM, tho.

     the website of your local NBC affilliate, they should have the info. If they are not showing it dayscafe.com (the daily spoiler) gives a very detailed report.

     nbc.com always has the show on the next day.

    I live in a suburb of Detroit and Aretha Franklin’s funeral (Celebration of Life) on Friday lasted nearly ten hours.  Every show during that time frame was pre-empted.  I plan to watch Friday’s episode of DOOL at nbc.com.  Long ago, our local NBC affiliate may have run a locally pre-empted show late at night but they haven’t done that for years.

     on the computer at nbc.com  Saturday.  I do watch it on the internet if I miss it for some reason.
