ParticipantI don’t subscribe to twitter but had to go and see what the cobra was up to. Some clever person with a great sense of humor is tweeting regularly for her. She is quite the girl about town.

Participantif the snake somehow got out of the reptile house. Everyone is sure it’s still in there. Cobras are among the brightest of the venomous snakes, and the King Cobra quite intelligent.

ParticipantI think it would have died; it has been very cold in this area.

Participantmy 19 year old grandson’s 2′ skinny little corn snake escaped from his tank one day and we didn’t find him until the next day. Fortunately, for me, my 5 year old grandson found him on the bed and picked him up, put him back in his tank, and secured the lid.

ParticipantIt wasn’t in grandma’s bed was it? I would have lost more than my bladder function – (would have never been able to sleep again!!!).

Participantthank God. We have a couple of spare bedrooms and whenever one or more of the kids stay over, they have a room. This one particular happened to be taken over by my oldest grandson, who’s now 19 and living on his own; well, at least alone as he can be with 2 roomies, 5 (count em’) snakes of various lengths and sizes, a rose-haired tarantula named "Rosey", and two spotted geckos named "Frick and Frack." AND THEY ALL LIVE IN HIS BEDROOM! I was so happy for him when he found his own shelter……I mean apartment.

ParticipantHe never escaped; they just didn’t see him. They want him on SNL.

(Oh, crap! It looks like we’re back to taking two minutes to post again. Jenn, is this something you might be able to correct?)
