Did we actualy see the Dr tell Chad that it is a brain tumor? I wonder if maybe he is letting Cameron believe it is life-threatening so that he will have a clear shot with Abby. Is that a possibility? Or did I just miss the dr tell Chad that he is a goner? I just think it is weird that "they" are not doing anything to at least prolong Chad’s life.

I actually don’t remember the doctor saying "tumor" or really giving any kind of diagnosis to Chad. What I remember was the doctor looking over Chad’s test results and then the next scene Chad was walking out of the office. Seems like Chad did look worried and sad, though.

I’ve been thinking from the get-go, that Chad is lying in order to get his chance with Abigail.

Given Lexie’s demise, I thought Chad decided he just wanted to live while he could and not seek any treatment. Maybe I am wrong, but I thought he just wanted to continue as normal as possible without anyone being aware of what was happening.

but all I heard the doctor say was “it’s conclusive” but not WHAT was conclusive. I do think he has a brain tumor, but that he doesn’t want Abigail or anyone else to know because he doesn’t want anyone feeling sorry for him. He’s falling for Abbey, and he already knows that she is conflicted with how she feels toward both men, so he doesn’t want Cameron telling her anything to make her feel sorry for him. He’s in a pretty bad situation, but I don’t think he’s lying about the brain tumor. Whether or not we see a “brand new” Chad around Halloween is something I’m still wondering about myself, but right now I don’t think enough of his illness has been revealed to make up my mind one way or another. I just know that I will miss Casey D. if he is, in fact, going to die. I have not read any spoilers to determine that one way or another. One even asks the question: “will Chad die, or will we see a “new” Chad after Halloween?” Nothing definite, but I think casting has just hired someone who looks a heck of a lot like CD.

I thought I did remember that Chad mentioned about going for chemo. Maybe to shrink the tumor or keep it from growing.
