Ok.  So, we’re going into this ethics thing.  How did Carly get a sample of Daniels’ DNA?  That was never shown and never explained as activity off camera.  Or, did I miss it?

She told him she was working on a research project and asked for his help.  He let her get a DNA sample for research.

obtain it under false pretenses, regardless of the fact that it may have still been okay for her to use a false name for Chloe.  Patient privilege may work for her here, but lying to obtain Dan’s DNA does not.  Also, I would imagine that Dan could not protect her if he decided not to testify against her.  It would still be a matter of her using unethical practices in her profession.  But, she’ll probably walk away unscathed.

When is someone going to attack her’s at the hospital?  She had her buddy try to change the results, obtained results illegally, etc.  Good for Carly, should be good for Stephanie!  Take her down, please!!!

I’m still wondering how they registered Chloe with a false name.  Unless she was paying for her paternity test out of pocket they’d require an insurance card AND whenever I’ve gone to the hospital for tests I’ve had to show a photo ID.

misuse of Carly’s professional ethics.  She also lied to the nun when she registered her not only under a false name, but as her (Carly’s) patient, and said she was not from this country and spoke little to no English.  Maybe since I assume it was a catholic hospital, they gave her some sort of charitable leniency regarding payment, which would tack on another lie.  Boy, this just gets better and better, doesn’t it?
