the lowly Bills sank back to earth with precision passing from AR. The Bills simply lack offensive weapons and were totally hapless against the Pack. But glad for your boys!

But the Pack had an unfair advantage wearing the helmets that looked like light bulbs you use to keep bugs away.  I’m sure the glare off of them impacted the vision of the Bills players.  :-)  All I saw were highlights, but looks like Aaron has more mobility than he did a couple of weeks ago.  You guys will bounce back.  Young QB Allen will get better.

I was proud of my hometown Jags with their nice W over the Jets.  But we can’t keep committing stupid ass penalties, especially against teams like KC which is an away game next Sunday.  They are tough enough as it is.  I hope Bortles can keep playing like he did yesterday!  Fournette seems like a really good guy and I hope his hammie heals, but need to start doing some thinking vis a vis next season.

I went to bed before EOG, but watched the highlights this morning.

Congrats! After the game Joe was “concerned” about not getting enough points in the second half, but this wasn’t really close. Your D handled Big Ben and Flacco is back to his form of a few years ago. Very impressed.

Ravens took it to Big Ben and the Steelers in a way, quite frankly, that surprised me with that quick start for the Ravens.  What a touch Joe has, and except for the bad overthrow to a wide open Crabtree, I agree, Joe is back in form, healthy, and happy to hear him say he has a lot of football left to play as long as it stays that way for him.  And what can I say that hasn’t already been said about Justin Tucker?  The guy is amazing!!!

Can anyone predict this league? Except for the Rams and Chiefs, I can’t get a handle on these games. One week a team can look all world; the next like chumps. I’m glad my Bills won but next Sunday they could be on the wrong end of a blowout.
Sorry PPaw and Patti. Looks like Rodgers is really missing Cobb and Patti, the Browns are starting to show definite improvement with all their draft choice riches. In fact, some better field goal work and they could have a great record.

Horrible day for the Pack and Jags.  Why in the hell you would go for a TD on 4th and goal at the 1-1/2 instead of kicking a field goal in an away game when you are 10 points down in the first quarter is beyond me.  Make the field goal and it’s a one score game.  Blake has no offensive line though it wouldn’t have helped with the throw into the lineman’s helmet.  After that the Benny Hill theme music ("Yakety Sax" by Boots Randolph) was playing in my head.  A friend invited me to shoot pool at the clubhouse, so I went there.  I don’t even know what happened with the Pack since I haven’t seen any highlights other than they lost.  Aaron and Blake put up big numbers, but if they aren’t accompanied by a "W" it doesn’t matter.

    EOR  (end of rant)

and that would be:  "STINK, STANK, STUNK".  I know Baker Mayfield has been putting a lot of hope into the Browns’ organization, but we simply didn’t perform well at all and we suffered the consequences.  The worst part of our loss was not that we are now three and two, but that our two losses are division losses.  Ouch!

Congrats Patti! As for my lowly Bills they are wasting a terrific D (6th in league) with a junky worthless offense. This team simply cannot effectively pass and I have serious doubts about whether rookie Allen will improve. To me he’s the very same guy from college and seems afraid to pull the trigger. As for backup Peterman – no excuse for him to still be on the team! I think we’ll be seeing journeyman Anderson at QB next week if the injured Allen can’t go.

But the Jags didn’t help themselves.  Congratulations Patti.  Casey, you and I can cry on each others shoulders.  The Pack D isn’t looking too shiny on this first drive of the night.

With AR a game is almost never out of reach. Once again he pulls it out at the end and have to feel good for your kicker. After last week, he came through!

week to week, the results of these games give me whiplash!  I am, however, beyond happy to see the way the Ravens performed against the Titans, especially our D.  I mean, 11 sacks…..seriously????  My son and his girlfriend went to the  game; They love Nashville.  It was their third trip there.

Now we’re home this week for Drew Brees and the Saints, where the Ravens are giving the Saints 2 1/2, but I’m sure that’s just because we’re the home team.  Hopefully, Joe can take care of business with the O, while our amazing D continues to dazzle Charm City by controlling DB and the Saints.

Sorry the Bills and the Jags lost, but Aaron Rogers wasn’t having any of that for the Pack.  Had enough time to get them where they needed to be for a winning field goal.  Seems the man is unstoppable!

I was very happy for Mason Crosby and how awesome that everyone on the team stuck by him through the mini slump.  Aaron is hoping to get out of the brace during the bye week.  He was moving very well last night as it was.  Tough games coming up.

Texans come to Jax this Sunday.  The Jags need to get it together quickly, especially the offense. JJ Watt is a total nightmare for the o-line and Blake.

That kickoff returner deciding to run out of the end zone at the end of the game? With the best come from behind QB in the biz likely to bring back the Pack? So sorry PP!
