That Chad’s mom and Kate used to be friends and that the secret Chad’s mom knows about Kate could "change Chad’s life forever." Crap! Another baby she didn’t know she had, I suppose. That would have had to happen after she had Phillip in this case. Can the get any more stupid and insane!
Kate’s eggs? Just like the gemini twins (Rex and Cassie)? Chad could be the child of Stefano and Kate but carried by Madeline and DA Woods thinks he’s his son.
The other possibility is that Chad is Philip’s son (there was a child that Philip gave up) and Kate’s grandson. Philip had the child when he was like 18 so if Chad is 16 (I believe that’s about his age), Phil would only be 34 which is quite believable. He’s supposedly gone to war twice and was aged. Of course if you want to focus on Phil’s real age, he was born the same year as Will so he could be Chad’s twin based on the year he was born on screen. lol
terminated the pregnancy with Phillip’s (Mimi’s) baby (with his acknowledgement), was there another child? If so, my memory is worse than I thought…
Wasn’t "Pocket" Phillip’s baby? You know, the baby Steve and Kayla were fostering? I thought another couple wanted to adopt him and Phillip decided to sign the papers. And he had to be way older than 18 when that child was conceived! He had been in and out of the Marines more than once at that point!
I musta been FF’ing in those days…your right -Lauren was going to terminate the pregnancy, I’d forgotten that Bonnie got Lauren to carry Phillip’s baby full term so she could get money from Victor and Phillip – and Steve and Kayla got him.
Kayla and Steve lost Pocket when Steve had a bout of rage and he was deemed unfit. Pocket was placed with another couple as foster parents and they wanted to adopt him. Phillip wanted Pocket/Tyler but in the end decided it was in child’s best interest to let the couple who really wanted him adopt him and they left with Pocket.
then: first he graduated HS, then it seemed like he was 25, followed by some other things and now being married to an 19? year old, it seems he’s lost those extra years he gained following graduation. It could be that they will say the ‘baby’ was born when he was 19, remember this is the show that pays no attention to ages! Just remember that EJ should be younger than Will and Philip and that Will/Phil should be the same age. It’s totally weird when you’ve watched the show and know the order of things. SORASing changes everything for the characters.
every time I think of this (and some of the other things the show’s done over the years), I get a migraine. It’s like the Twilight Zone sometimes.
i was wondering the same thing. maybe YEARS ago, all three of ’em were involved in some criminal act, that led to one (or all of them) killing someone? Maybe Kate killed a "client" of hers when she was high priced public commoner?! Whatever it is, it sure has Kate’s feathers ruffled…and I’m lovin’ it!
if it’s more than just killing someone. She knows that Stefano could cover up a lot of crimes, ala poisoning Chloe, so I don’t think she’d be that crazy about Madeline if it was just that. Kate has done so many bad things and her reputation with most respectable people is pretty much shot, so I’m wondering what is it that she’s afraid to lose? It must have something to do with her children. That’s about the only thing that gets her this upset.
I like process of elimination, so: she keeps saying "she could ruin everything," what is everything? She doesn’t have a marriage full of secrets, so she can’t ruin that. I can’t imagine she can do anything to put her behind bars, because Kate will never pay in that way, I don’t think anyway. They don’t talk about her business hardly anymore, so I don’t think that’s it, either. Any thoughts??
Everything to Kate is her kids, money, freedom. It has to be something so bad she fears her kids will never forgive her and she’d loose them forever or she’d go to prison.
I’m not taking the blood on her hands literally as in she actually killed or murdered something but the fact that she did something unforgiveable.
because the spoiler is revealed tomorrow, May 14th. I still believe that it will be that Madeline and Kate were both hookers back in their day, and Stefano would know that, of course. However, I’m still curious as to why Kate had that very traumatic vision with the blood on her hands. That tells me that this is where Madeline has both Kate and Stefano over a barrel. Why else would Kate be so shook up over Madeline, but it doesn’t appear that Madeline is that shook up over either Kate or Stefano. Instead, she is rather secure in her belief that she has the "goods" on them that will destroy both of their lives. Very interesting to me how this one will play out. Just hope we get enough of the reveal to know what it is, and not some poorly executed 5 second Friday cliffhanger that will still keep us in the dark and still guessing. Whatever, I still think it has to do with Chad as well.
