Remember how many people absolutely hated Melanie when she first came on? And now we’re hearing, “Oh I always liked Melanie.” Ha, let’s be honest folks, I can’t remember ANYBODY liking her at first. She just happened to be one of those characters that, as they changed their personality, we began to like them.
there’s not one character any and all writers will eventually ruin; but, truth is, I do like Melanie, but she was not liked once she got involved with Philip and the mess that came with it; however, that being said, I will take Mel over anything we are seeing on our screens today.
but she grew on me. I didn’t like Brady either until he got involved with Chloe. Days usually does that. JJ was the same way. I’m guessing we’ll all like Theresa at some point too.
when I character I didn’t much like (except for her scenes with Maggie) is actually now a welcome addition. I do think a return of a pregnant Kristin could be interesting though.
But Nicole finding her child alive would be just what this show needs. Hear me writers?I remember way back when many people on the board were against Melanie. I noted that I liked the actress and her portrayal. I still do and it will be interesting to see what mess she has gotten herself into with that purse full of cash…
Let the fun and games begin!I liked Melanie from day 1 – even though she was a bit on the corny side (with the party girl site.) I think it had more to do w/the fact that I liked Molly from day 1. But I had no issues with Melanie from the beginning. VERY happy to see her back too.
I am with you, Bonbon. I remember many people saying that they didn’t like her. I am not crazy about her one way or the other. I think shw has a wierd smile.

with all three characters. That has taught me to be patient to see what develops with some of these despicable characters. Although I can’t imagine what they could possibly do with Eve and Theresa that would make me like them. But then, you never know. At least I’m happy to know someone else has had the same feelings about the same people I do.
has a Christmas tune coming out with Brady (Eric.) Maybe if they play it on the show we’ll like her LOL
