I will not be watching Sonny and Will’s wedding(?). If(?) Sami & E.J. should make it to the altar, I won’t watch them either.
This soap is turning into a porn show. It’s bad enough that Abby and E.J. are disgusting to watch, but does the scene have to be shown over and over.
When Sami walked in the mansion, she acted like she was going to explode. I thought she had caught on that E.J. and Abby were having an affair. Then she drags him to bed.
I certainly didn’t want to watch E.J. and Sami and their porn show.
That’s exactly what soaps are about and we have been seeing these things for years and years. True, some of us don’t like it but someone must or they wouldn’t keep showing us these scenes.
BTW, I thought Sami’s “seduction” moves with EJ were very nicely done. If only they had stopped when they went up the stairs. I would much rather see that than the bed-wrestling that looks so fake and forced.
YES the imagination can run any way you want it to and if you want can be much hotter than allowed on tv!! Fade to black is always best!
I’ve always followed the old adage, “if you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen.” If I don’t like someone or something on DOOL, my fast-forward fickle finger of hate works overtime, like on Abigail Devereaux in scenes with E.J., Theresa Donovan in scenes with anyone, and Anne Millbauer in her constant attempts to get Jennifer fired. I think my fickle finger of hate is growing a muscle from all of their scenes.
Maybe soap operas just aren’t for you. They have also been a “hot bed” of “sex in the afternoon”. Granted, they have gotten more graphic as times have changed but obviously they are only giving what the majority of people are willing to accept. I agree with you though that they are trying to put it across as soft porn with the corny music and editing techniques like the fade-in/fade-out of Sami and EJ yesterday. But if I don’t like what’s on I skip over it until they get back to something I want to see.
