So what was in Hope’s envelope? The only speculation (I don’t think it was written as a spoiler) I’ve seen is that EJ is Hope and John’s son. What does everybody else think?
some sort of life-changing evidence that Stefano had on Hope; otherwise, why in the world would Alice find it necessary to protect it from coming out, thus she had something so terrible on Stefano that the only way to counter his blackmail was to have her own dirt on him. So, although I didn’t know for sure, I’ve always thought that Stefano’s envelope would contain proof of some sort of scandal directly relating to Hope, as Alice’s envelope would contain the same relating to Stefano, and that it would be something that Stefano would never want revealed, i.e., E.J.’s birthright. JMO
I’m still saying that EJ is John and Maggie’s. Think about it, Hope is too young to be EJ’s mother but look at the age of Shawn D. He was in his 20’s when they left, to the writers a few years doesn’t make much difference. BUT I’m thinking Alice found something when she was snooping around about Maggie’s eggs and Susan knows the truth. If he were Hope’s I’m sure Alice would have had to tell Hope since it would be her grandchild.
It would devistate Stefano to have EJ be John’s no matter who the egg donor was.
was about one of the lamest things they’ve ever done. What was the purpose? What was accomplished? It was stupid, stupid, stupid. All it did was make everyone look foolish.
It feels like these writers have already scraped the bottom of the barrel and now they’re getting splinters under their fingernails.
