While she has a beautiful vocie, I didn’t care much for her choice of songs. But maybe it is a public domain song so the show doesn’t have to pay royalities.
then why not let her sing for more than 10 seconds? That whole thing was really lame. Liked her singing, liked the song, but not sure it was a "pub song" material. She needed something a little more upbeat.
was supposed to be "poignant" background to Nicole and Taylor’s anguish over Faye’s death. It was "sometimes I feel like a motherless child."
Although I love that song, it only uses five notes (well, the sixth one only once). Why have a professional singer with a beautiful voice not be able to show what she has? Whomever chose that song ought to be shot…SANS blindfold!
I heard the first couple of notes, I realized what song it was and thought it was not going to match with Chloe’s operatic voice and it was only one verse and the same notes over and over. Rather pathetic in my opinion.
that AI’s Jacob Lutz first sang when everyone (including present company) thought he was so wonderful? I think it was. In any case, it wasn’t right for Chloe, but maybe they should have shown her singing it longer than they did. As it was, I saw only wasted air time.
Now if they bring back Mike Horton, we can have open "Mike" night. Otherwise it is lame for the Brady Pub, a little hole in the wall establishment, having this big talent night. But then again, has this show worried about pulling off some lame tricks? Not on my watch it hasn’t. LOL
