The actors on a once a week show, have a long time to learn their lines. They also get to do retakes if it is t perfect. Soap operas shoot every day and actors literally have a day or night to learn their lines. They also don’t know where their story is headed far enough in advance to know how to play out certain moments. So while the nighttime soap maybe be better acted, if our actors on Days had a whole week or even months to read the script and act it out, we’d definitely have a different show.
They have also used this formula on the Walking Dead. However their time jumps have been several years.
Saw another spoiler where they mentioned "Mickey’s parents." That leads me to believe even more that Brady and Kristin are the real parents. Also, Mickey is going to have a fever–you know what that means. The child will need a transplant and neither Sarah nor Eric will be a match.
I am grateful that I didn’t have to sit through dramatic months of Sarah’s and Kristin’s pregnancies. I didn’t have to watch a year of Gabi trying to seduce Eli. I didn’t have to see trials for Ben or Will. I am enjoying just short recaps of what happened over the year. It’s almost how I watch all of my recordings when I’ve been on vacation. I can’t sit through the whole show, so I ff and see bits and pieces I think will be important. The only thing I wish I didn’t have to see is Princess Gina. I hope the Christmas miracle this year will be her getting her Hope memory back.
I heard "Stefan" might be Steve. I could see him wanting or agreeing to a divorce because now he’s Stefano, not Steve.
The Seattle NBC affiliate has a station. At 1:00 it’s normally local news on that station. During the dog and pony show, they’ve been putting Days on the sister station. Fortunately, I’ve been recording off of both stations just in case.
There has to be a tie to Salem for this guy, and I think it’s Paul. Also, I had heard rumors that the actor who plays Paul was on set a while ago.
Lani was a police officer and they arrested Kristin at anniversary party for John and Marlena. Now they weren’t buddies, but they did know each other.
If they were on contracts the whole time, they’d have to be paid and they’d be prohibited from other acting opportunities.
It’s someone like Johnny or EJ with implanted memories, like Hope/Gina. I don’t want to see a recast of Stefano. It would be too disrespectful to Joe M. They would never do that to to Tom, Alice, Caroline, or Sean.
