Now that Rafe knows Hope is Gina, he’s figured out that Steve is probably not Steve. Roman, John, and Marlena should have all be able to figure out Hope. Shame on them. They all knew Princess Gina.
Not that he’s done a great job of it, but he tells her when she’s done something wrong. And then again, if he leaves, what purpose does she serve?
He is definitely suspicious of Hope. It appears much has happened that we haven’t seen. I wouldn’t be surprised if John did get a message that Hope was Gina, that he wasn’t passed out when Steve hit him, and he knows everything that’s going on.
Sorry, fans of these actors, but they can’t pull it off! Steve can pull off Steve, but he surely can’t pull off Stefano. And because he’s supposed to be Steve as Stefano, he now no longer can pull of Steve. He’s so stilted! And let’s be honest, Hope as Gina has always been horrid. I agree, it’s just too much screen time for them.
We must have missed it and it was done off camera. I don’t have a problem with that being the case, but where will this story go from John’s end? I hope he grows a brain soon.
Remember Eli travelled to Italy with a gun that JJ swiped from him. Why did Eli need a gun to go and talk to Kristin in a convent?
How did that happen? I know Kate poured her heart out to Hattie, but did Hattie all of a sudden decide to be Marlena? And if so, when did the switch occur?
I thought for sure he’d have this stroke and it would kill him. Who knows, it still might. I agree, there is no other Victor Kiriakis.
Rafe was not around when Gina was, but damn! Marlena, Roman, John, Kayla, all remember the days of Princess Gina. What the heck happened to their memories?
I agree that Xander is to blame in part, but let’s remember who really is to blame for all that will happen from here on out–Victor! He covered up the accident, he’s hoping she doesn’t remember anything, he told Xander to switch the babies, he chose to frame Will, and when Xander wanted to confess about what they both did, Victor threatened him. Don’t get me wrong I love that they’re making Victor a little more hard core in his old age, but all of this to protect Maggie is going to be disastrous especially now that Mickey has cancer and needs a bone marrow transplant.
I’m no fan of Princess Gina or James Reilly, but I have enjoyed the time jump and I did like this week of explanation. However, what a horrible Mothers Day for these people! I do look forward to the story unfolding, especially now that we know Will did not cause the accident.
I am 100% irritated with the whole baby thing, although it will probably play out well and I wonder what happens to Sarah and Xander when it all comes out. My youngest child is 15 and none of my kids were ever put in the "nursery." Most hospitals keep babies with mom in the room and mom, dad, and baby all have matching bracelets so baby swaps don’t happen. Salem needs to evolve with the times. (This is my own irritation with the storyline.)
Now that we all caught up, I’m looking forward to how it plays out. I do agree with Patti that I’m sad they killed off Haley. Like what was the purpose of that? Since we know Rolf was lurking during this time maybe in a few years Haley and Adrienne will come back to life.
I thought Haley was an ER nurse, but there she was in Labor and Delivery. Same with Kayla flitting around between surgery, the morgue, and the maternity ward. What the heck?
I believe 100% that Victor paid off the doctor. It only makes sense since the doctor never went to see Sarah or Kristin to tell either one that their baby died. She was MIA. My bigger question is Brady and Kristin took a photo with their baby, how did no one notice that Sarah’s baby looked just like their baby? I’m really having to work hard at suspending my disbelief with this storyline.
