I saw a theory that mentioned something about Taylor Walker, but I don’t know how Sloan could be Taylor. Nicole knew her sister Taylor and had a relationship with her. I can’t remember who the original actress was that played Taylor, but Tamara Braun played her for a short time before she became Ava Vitali. Didn’t Taylor die? I remember something about her falling down stairs perhaps in the Dimera mansion. Also, Sloan has an American accent because she is much younger than Colin and grew up in the states. Colin was raised mostly in England and has a British accent. This is not unusual. I had a friend in school who was an American, but had an Australian accent because she spent almost all of her younger years in Australia.
I do think there is a connection between Sloan and Nicole, I just can’t place my finger on what it will be.
I would agree. It is not an excuse to terrorize Paulina and Chanel, not to mention poisoning a whole town with biscuits. I know they’re trying to play that up, but I have no sympathy for Talia. She should serve time for doing what she did, plus she should lose her license to practice medicine. Honestly, jus wish they would get rid of Talia and Colin. I don’t care for either character.
Since soap operas on CBS have no relationship to Days on NBC/Peacock, I have no idea what Genoa City has to do with Salem.
I think it would be very interesting to see Gwen and Dmitri marry. It would be a marriage of convenience for both and I think Gwen could stand to benefit from it. Plus, both characters don’t seem to care about the consequences of their actions. Every thing is a means to an end.
I have not scene yesterday’s show because we were without cell, internet, and cable all day. However to answer your question. They only needed the DNA of one of the potential fathers, in this case it was going to be Eric. Since we now know that Sloan swabbed her own cheek, that DNA wouldn’t match no matter what. With everyone believing it was Eric’s DNA, it didn’t match so everyone assumes the baby is EJs.
Sloan was willing to take this risk because she’s hoping Eric never finds out. But as doolfan pointed out, this is Salem, he’ll find out somehow in the end. I’m also guessing since this is how the story is playing out now, Nicole will carry this baby to term. There will be something that happens after the baby is born that will necessitate some sort of blood or organ donation and Nicole and EJ won’t be a match. So Eric will find out the baby is his.
@doolfan, the actress is Kim Coles. I don’t think she’ll be on very long. From the spoilers I’ve read, Abe will have a dream with the real Paulina, and there’s another one that says he doesn’t recognize Rafe. So I’m wondering if Rafe finds Abe.
Spoilers say the daddy is EJ. I’m still wondering if they’ll repeat the twin story from Sami and EJ. That way EJ gets a baby and Eric gets a baby. Considering these writers aren’t too creative, I wouldn’t be surprised.
Hmmm, let me see. I can easily change my hair, paint my fingernails differently, change my clothes. You know what is really a sensitive topic, that’s not something I can easily change—my weight. I don’t talk about it because I’ve lived through an eating disorder and I’ve lived through my own child’s eating disorder. She was on death’s door. I’ve never heard of anyone dying from their hair, fingernails or wardrobe. However, weight can be deadly in either extreme, and I’m not going to comment on that with any actor.
From what Megan said the other day, Hathaway was the name she used so no one would know her connection to Stefano. She changed her name to Dimera on Monday or Tuesday. I’m sure it wouldn’t be that difficult for her to reclaim her name and her place at Dimera. Chad’s name wasn’t Dimera until he decided to claim it.
I was completely confused by that scene. Leo and Colin had no previous interaction with each other. I know that Leo said something about reading about Colin, but even if he saw his picture in a paper or his face on the news, how did he know he had a British accent. Colin was never interviewed by news crews. That whole scene was rubbish. Even when Leo thought Colin was a real police officer, the whole story about his stolen phone was lame. They could have cut that scene out and the story would have still gone on. Just a ruse to give more screen time to both actors.
Not sure if you’re aware, but the actress had a horseback riding accident in late 2020. She was in the hospital for quite a while and then caught covid while she was in the hospital for the accident. I’m sure that effected her. I’d also like to point out that we should never be talking about a person’s weight or body. It’s really none of our concern or business. Judi has often spoken about being self-conscious about this and I’m not going to say anything else on this topic.
Personally, I don’t think you can say Judy Evans is supposed to look physically different when she plays Bonnie. No matter Judy’s body size, she’s always played both characters in that body size. I don’t see what the point would be to bring the Adrienne character back unless the kill off the Bonnie character. Judy Evans is employed regardless.
You aren’t seriously asking this question? Many actors and characters were born before the show came on. Doug, Julie, John, Marlena, Steve, Kayla, Abe, Paulina, Hope, Bo, the list goes on.
There is recourse, but it doesn’t mean you get fired immediately. My husband is retired from the military and I have a friend whose husband is in FBI. People make mistakes. They don’t get fired immediately. There is usually something written up in their files and what usually happens is that the write up usually prevents a person from rising in the ranks as quickly as those with spotless records. There is a lot of money put into training these agents. They don’t get fired immediately for a mistake. Now if Andrew had done something criminal, that would be a different case. Criminal actions definitely have career consequences that usually result in dismissals. And yes, it’s possible that an ISA agent couldn’t tell the difference between a real deal and a fake. Also, did Andrew go to “Paul’s” rescue in an official capacity? I don’t think so. He went to rescue his boyfriend as an individual. Another big difference.
