and hope that in the end this is the way the writers and the story goes. If TPTB have any sense, this is what will happen. I don’t have a problem with a gay storyline, as a matter of fact, if this is the route they choose, I think it will be excellent and very powerful for all viewers. Changing Will, who’s been in a long term relationship with Gabi, to a gay character won’t settle well with some viewers. T is a minor character that we’ve only seen in a friendly situation with Kinsey, although she did allude to something more having happened between them and she didn’t sound like she was impressed. With all of the anger that T has towards Sonny, I can see it as T’s way of struggling with his own sexuality. It is so much more believable to the viewers if T turns out to be the other gay character. Also, his way over the top reaction about the picture of him and Sonny seems like a major clue to me.
Like Brother and sister. The last time we had nauseating pairing of two people who were more like brother and sister, it was Chloe and Lucas. I always got queasy with them together. I get that same ICK feeling when I see Brady and Mel being more than friends.
As for Dario, maybe he will return one day. I was one of the people who didn’t like him at first, but I agree, he has grown on me and like him with Melanie.
nothing is permanent. She’s being sent off not killed off. Quinn got a reprieve, maybe she will be back later with him. I agree that her acting has been superb and I like the rapport she has with Quinn.
She is so underused. To me she’s almost always just a prop for other characters. I loved her scenes with Stefano because she was in control of the scene. Stefano had to take it from her and Kate had to stay the hell out of it. I’d like to see Lexi in better situations because at the hospital, she drives me crazy.
As I recall, Will said something about remembering Mia’s situation and he didn’t want that to happen to him and Gabi, that’s why he had the condom.
Sami will be pregnant, but the pregnancy won’t last. You know what that means in Soap Opera Land, she’ll never be able to have a child again. Then she’ll have a miracle pregnancy later on down the road and then something will go wrong and put us on the edge of our seats waiting to see if Sami delivers said baby without complications.
Don’t know if you watch Glee, but the one bully of the one gay character, actually is gay on the show. That would make a better storyline. If "T" has so much anger because he has issues dealing with his own homosexuality, I could totally find that believable. Maybe that is the direction the new writers will take, especially since Kinsey is being written off, but T is staying. Even if there is no relationship between Sonny and T, I think Sonny would be the perfect character to help T come to terms with his own sexuality. I must say, I too enjoyed yesterday’s show with Will and Gabi. They are so sweet together.
I was wondering the same thing as Bonbon. I only watch Days where daytime TV is concerned. His name meant nothing to me.
I tend to be more conservative, but on social issues, I think we should leave that out of the political realm. I believe you are who you are. You don’t turn gay and you can’t be turned gay. IMHO, this is not a moral issue, sexuality is not a choice. I guess this is why I wouldn’t have a problem with the storyline going either way. Also, I find that I like Sonny, so I hope they keep him. He gives Adrienne and Justin validity as parents.
You love John and Marlena, don’t deprive yourself of that enjoyment because you don’t "agree" with homosexuality. I’m one of the viewers who doesn’t have a problem with the storyline. I like Will, and I don’t really care who they pair him with, although I think he and Gabi have a good relationship. I like his chemistry with Sonny and if it is just a friendship, that’s fine with me. I love that he will stand up for Sonny. I like that he gets in T’s face about the way he speaks to Sonny. I think if you record the show, you can watch what you like, and ff through the stuff you don’t. I’ve been doing that for years.
I think I’m really excited about the show for the first time in ages. Can’t wait to see John Black again, this show has needed him so badly. Glad we have the return of the original Austin and Jack, although why the buffoon-ish entrance for Jack? Yoohoo writers, please don’t resort to making him such an a$$ again, the viewers aren’t yearning for that Jack.
I hate it when my show is interrupted. I would guess that 99% of the time it’s something that could be shown on the evening news and not considered "breaking" news that needs to be reported. Lately, all we’ve had are interruptions for non-newsworthy moments. Some people are so blinded by their own political agenda.
I thought for sure the girl would be Kinsey. Especially after she took that call from Chloe’s phone. First of all Chloe’s clients call Quinn, not Chloe directly. That was really odd to see someone calling Chloe. If Kinsey was in the hospital beaten up that certainly would have led to a bigger more interesting story. Chloe may have been exposed at that point and quite possibly Quinn. But they made this some random person and it just came out of nowhere with no background.
