Brandon and Nadia = Shawn and Chloe. At the time, she came back to the show, Shawn and Belle were together. However, you forget Doug and Julie. They are married in real life and I think they met and started dating on Days and had a relationship on the show before they were married.
As far as I know, they were dating when Chad came on the show. They were a couple before he was cast as Chad. I read an article once about how although they were the same age, their characters were not put together so they didn’t have any scenes with each other. Now it looks like someone might have realized Melanie is the same age as Chad. She is the one character on the show that they’ve paired with older (not old) characters and it never worked for me. The pairing with Phillip was always off for me.
to another topic. Her voice is grating and just awful for broadcasting. It explains a lot when you say she is/was Simon Cowell’s girlfriend. There is no way in hell that someone with that voice would ever get a job in television or radio unless they had some connection.
I can’t stand that reporters voice. It is so grating. I just ff through all of the scenes with EJ and Abe. Hope nothing of importance was said because I skipped it all.
She is so petty! Any smart business woman or man, thrives on competition. Geez! What would have happened if Apple and Microsoft had not been competitors? There would be no need to get better, to improve, to innovate.
I just can’t stand her character and I never have. I wish they would write her off. No offense to Lauren Koslow, I just dislike her character and I never have sympathy for her when she is down and out because we all know that she will bounce back and be even more heinous than before.
I am starting to like Chad and Abby, but in real life Chad and Melanie are dating. They could be trying to pair them because of their real life chemistry hoping it will click on screen. They did the same thing with Nicole and the old Brady because they were married. Personally, I’d like to see them stick with Abby and Chad. I find it awkward that they had Melanie married to Phillip and now she’s going to hang out with the younger group, although she is their age. I don’t think they know what they want to do with her character and they are trying to pair her with someone. I think they should bring back Dario. That relationship was just taking off and they didn’t give it a chance.
but I absolutely hated him yesterday. I’m ready for him to leave. That is so sad. Poor Matt Ashford, comes back to Days only to be given a role that makes the fans want him to be kidnapped and hauled off again. Not liking him, not liking the way he reacted to Abby and Chad.
I would not be bothered by it. I’ve always said that Melanie looks like she could be related to Maggie. That would make me happy and I think it would be wonderful for the relationship that Victor has with Daniel.

a repeat of the story with Billie? I don’t want to repeat that one again. I sure as heck don’t want Kate to have any more mystery kids. Let’s face it, she has Billie, Austin and those two space kids–Cassie and her brother. Sorry, I just don’t think I could swallow another mystery child from Kate.
As for Kate’s nose, I always thought she had some work done, but that’s my opinion, not fact.
Did not like Nadia’s mom. But I can tell you from having family from the Middle East, her mom wants her to marry someone from her cultural background or someone like her dad. Honestly, no man will be good enough for her unless she picks him out herself.
Farah needs a man, not a mama’s boy like the one she has.
I really felt sorry for Kirstin. It’s heartbreaking to hear how her mother treated her. I know she’s sad about her brother leaving, but he’s still in this country and she can visit. My husband just deployed to Middle East for a year, we won’t be visiting any time soon.
Galen is a cutie, and sweet too. I’m really enjoying this show. Does anyone else find it interesting that aside from Kelly Monaco and Jean Paul, all of them have been on Days?
Everyone would quit being so down on Jack. He and Jennifer have so much chemistry. Yes, he needs a shave. Yes, he’s acting immature. But if the writers get it together here, you’ll will see that he and Jennifer are so much better together than Jennifer and Daniel. That has been a creepy relationship to me from the get go. It’s like watching a brother and sister make-out. Frankly, they exhibit too much PDA for me too–everywhere!
