Eric and Brady are step brothers. They don’t share a common blood parent.

Tate’s grandmother, Theresa’s mother, is Roman’s sister. Will’s grandfather, Sami’s father, is Roman. Therefore, Tate and Will are blood relatives, cousins, on the Brady side.

When Kate and Harris visited Lucas in the prison infirmary Harris said that although Lucas provided valuable info it didn’t get them the result they needed. Therefore he wasn’t eligible to be released. I think Harris was just sticking with that statement but was able to at least convince the powers that be to release Lucas for a short time since he was in danger in the prison. As this story progresses I think Lucas will be released.

I see an emerald cut stone, not a coffin.

Tate had a bad crush on Holly. So it’s reasonable to assume he’s straight.

What does “look like a coffin” mean? I’m not following your point.

I’m a Johnny and Chanel fan. The ring is gorgeous and what you’d expect from a young in love, romantic DiMera with many resources at his disposal.

My comment about the dinner table was meant to be humorous, not taken seriously.

Maybe it came up at the DiMeria dinner table one night.

Regardless of how Stefan knew about it, I think it was absurd for the writers to bring it up since it happened so long ago.

Days Cafe mentioned it again in their spoilers for week of Jan 29.
Maybe they’ll redo the set to give it current decor. A fire would be a good reason to do it.

Will the story be an accidental fire or arson? If arson then Clyde is probably involved.

Since my previous post Days Cafe mentioned the house fire.

Agree, Constantine doesn’t look old enough to be John’s father. I too wish they would stop with the stories about John’s father. Leave it at DVD.
Also, wasn’t the Pawn a DiMera, Stefano, creation, rather than a Kiorikas creation. I didn’t watch back then since I was working.

I would hate for Constantine to be John’s father because he’s such a creepy, slimy character.

The backstories did take place for a character. They were created in the minds of the writers.

Imagine if Everett just showed up in Salem. He didn’t live in Seattle, he didn’t know or date Stef, he wasn’t Jada’s ex-husband, he is just a guy who is an investigative reporter. How boring that would be. As a viewer, I would be wondering what his story is. Why show up in Salem? A character’s (or a person’s) future thoughts, behaviors and actions are influenced by their past.

The backstories were created in the minds of the writers to give the new characters a history and off of which to write the current stories.

I’ll be disappointed if Nicole is off camera for a month while she is with Holly in Italy. That just drags out the baby story which needs to end soon with Jude getting returned to his mother.

Is there a rumor or confirmation that the Days opening won’t have MacDonald Carey’s voice anymore? I haven’t read anything about it.

It was great to see him and Julie reminisce after the Horton ornament hanging at Christmas. If that winds up being his final scene on Days, it was fitting and memorable.
