I think she was only suppose to be a year or 2 younger when they first introduced her years ago. Nicole just had a hard life and seemed much older than she realy was at the time.
When we had a patient that was an organ donor we had them on life support until the transport team got there. I know the doctor would pronounce them but we had to keep their body "alive" until the team got there and that could be hours of waiting. Once the transport team came they were the ones that took the body to OR and removed everything. The team wasn’t called until AFTER the patient was pronounced or the family decided to pull have them pronounced and donate the organs.
With some organs can’t be used if the patient had been given certain medications both past and present and I’m wondering with Ari’s drug abuse history if any damage had been done.
It was strange when we had someone on a ventilator and we had to do our routine ventilator checks which were every 2 hours and document all the settings and vitals as if they were still alive when everything in their chart said they were dead.
When they did the DNA testing on Sydney Stefano knew part of Nicole’s secret and thought she was Mia’s baby and might have altered any tests to proove EJ was the daddy no matter what the original results showed.
If I remember didn’t Taylor leave to go to college. For some reason medical school keeps coming to mind but I could be wrong and she was a physical therapist or therapist student when she was on before as Kate hired her to be Lucas’s therapist after a car accident.
Doug and Julie should be right behind Tom and Alice. They were a supercouple before that term was thought of.
I worked in a banquet hall when I was in college. I remember my 1st night we were in the kitchen filling the bread baskets. The floor had pallets on them with slats so food and liquids could flow thru. I dropped a biscuit and it hit the pallet that we were standing and walking on and I was told to pick it up and put it in the basket. I was shocked and another waitress picked it up and put it in hers. I guess they don’t waste food and if the patron doesnt’ see it then it didn’t happen.
When Nicole was staying at Sami’s after EJ kicked her out Rafe took her hairbrushor toothbrush for a DNA sample to test against Sydney’s and it was negative, unless he grabbed the wrong one.
Not really. Plantains have a thicker skin so you can’t peel them as easily as a banana and they’re a bit bitter until they’re cooked. You can fry them and season them and they are sweet but not as sweet as a banana but they are considered a vegetable. A little ginger and they’re excellent. You just have to make sure you don’t over cook them or they can get a bit tough and crispy. That made some of them hard when we wanted to mash them. You can also boil them then mash them to add to some dishes. And of course the team that made the appetizer cooked them, mashed them and made patties out of them and those were excellent.
When Celeste was first on the show she had a strange relationship with Stefano and it seemed she had a hard time saying no to some of the things he asked her to do or should I say demanded as Stefano does. It then came out that Celeste wasn’t Lexie’s aunt as she grew uo thinking but actually her mother and Stefano was her father. So, even though they were never technically a couple on the show there was an implied relationship there both past and present for a while then Celeste got some guts and split from him totally.
A little off here but this post got me to thinking.
Don and I take a cooking class at the Senior Center. It’s open to anyone 50+. They’ve been having 3 / 6 week sessions a year for the last 2 years and we’ve taken every one as well as become friends with the instructor, Chef Michael, and his wife Jeanne. Last Tuesday was the last class of the 3 sessions for this year and we had an Iron Chef competition for the final class. Michael got 4 people from the community who are involved with food somehow from being a chef at a local restaurant to enjoying cooking for family and friends. We were divided into 2 teams of 3 each and 1 on each team was appointed team leader (They separated Don and I and I was team leader for my team). We had a counter full of ingredients and each team was given 2 courses to prepare with no recipes. We had to do a side dish and dessert, Don’s team had appetizer and entree. We had to use a minimum of 4 ingredients and the secret ingredient in each dish. Secret ingredient was Plantains. All I remembered about them was they had to be cooked.
I was surprised everything actually turned out great. We used bread dough and pizza sauce with Plantains and other vegetable and seasonings to make an appetizer pizza and we had a graham cracker crust that we filled with instant vanilla pudding with mashed Plantains and ginger then topped with a mixture of cream cheese, marshmallow fluff and milk. Don’s team made fried Plantain patties with a cream cheese, marshmallow fluff, sour cream, blueberry, cherry and strawberry dip. The appetizer was a chicken stir fry with plantains.
Now if I could just be that creative at home.
Maybe it was some high tech device she got from the police when she was working undercover on the drug ring. Very James Bond or Get Smartish and the camera is small enough to fit on a buttom or earring and connects to a display via bluetooth.
I know I’m reaching far here but need to do something to have it make some sort of sense.
I thought Belle was born at the church when John and Marlena got married. Marlena went into Labor during the ceremony.
I haven’t watched it yet but did they show the camera she used or could it have been her cell phone since most of them can shoot video as well as still pictures.
For some reason I started getting Soap Opera Weekly in the mail and was reading an article by Eric Martsolf and he said it’s hard to do a serious scene with John Aniston. Brady’s suppose to be all serious and Victor’s lines crack him up but all John does is read his lines, it’s the delivery that makes them priceless.
