She’ll probably have Nicole babysit or hire Caroline.  She could always ship the baby off to Nancy and Craig to watch until he’s 18

I’ve been thinking along those same lines.  The tests were entered wrong to begin with and that’s when Stephanie first saw them.  Someone corrected the results and that’s when Stephanie saw them the second time.  Now Stephanie is telling people that the baby isn’t really Daniels (Ian, Kayla, and indirectly Caroline)  So, when Caroline said she switched the results she wouldn’t have been lying but she didn’t do anything crooked either as she was doing what she was told which is correct an error.

Now somehow either through Melanie Daniel will find out or hear that that baby isn’t his and that might cause problems for Daniel and Chloe but later when it turns out he really is the daddy Melanie would be to blame for ruining his happiness.

One of our local stores has their 2 L bottle’s of Pepsi products for $1.25 each.  Sometimes they’ll have a special of 4/$5 and people think they’re getting a great deal so they’ll stock up.  It’s hilarious.

I only drink milk when I have cereal and that’s not too often so I keep powdered milk for cooking.  Except for when I make tapioca there’s no difference.  If I feel it needs the fat from milk I’ll add a dab of butter also.

Don’t eat salads so can’t help there.  It’s not that I don’t like salads, I do but I’m the only one that will eat lettuce and if I buy it I forget it’s there.

Everyone raves about Sams Club but I find it’s a waste of money for me as I can’t use the gallon size jar of peanut butter and even if I did I have no place to store it  What I do like Sams for is paper products but those won’t spoil.

I don’t know where you guys shop but around me if something sells for 10/$10 and I only buy 2 of 3 I pay $1 a can.  The other day our local Winn Dixie had yogurt 10/$5 and I paid 50 cents each for less than that.  They just advertise it the way they do because a lot of people will think it’s a great deal and go for the full 10 since it sounds better than saying $1 or 50 cents each.   If I remember my psychology classes it’s subliminal messaging.

Will Nicole use it as leverage with EJ or Sami.  I think Sami would give her anything to keep that video away from EJ.

If it’s been preempted nationwide then it won’t be on Soapnet either.

I have a hard time believing this one.  Having worked and helping to design the computer program that the hospital used for order entry, billing and documentation I can tell you they can give access on a need to know basis.  I worked in Respiratory Therapy and we had to have access to all patient files but didn’t have access to billing.  A unit secretary had access to order entry only, a nurse to both order entry and documentation BUT I could read what the nurse entered in the chart but had no way to edit or enter anything  Same for nurses, they could see what I charted but couldn’t change anything.  We had different screens for entry that were specific to our area.  Someone in billing wouldn’t have access to the meat of the patient’s chart due to confidentiality.  That goes against those HIPAA rules.  The only department that would have access to enter test results is the department that runs the tests and even then I’m sure only certain positions in that department would be able to enter them.  Then there’s the fact that the IS department would be able to tell who’s code was used for what and where you went to.  If we accessed the file of a patient that wasn’t on our services we would hear about it since it’s all logged and not a secret.

If you look under the chairs of Vic and Stefano there’s a tiered platform for the actors behind them to stand on  James might not be standing on the platform.

After my brother and I were grown and moved out of the house I would laugh when my mom would complain that it was harder to cook for 2 as I always thought it was easier.  Now that I’m cooking for just Don and I I’m finding that it’s much easier to cook when we’re having guests than just us.  Every recipe serves 4 or more and there are times when you try to cut it in half and it just doesn’t come out right.  I am learning to experiment more and change recipes up a bit for the 2 of us.

As for soup, if it’s for cooking we always go generic or store brand, if it’s to eat as soup it’s got to be Campbells.

I know bread and lunch meat an be divided and frozen for future.  A friend of mine would separate her lunchmeat into sandwiches servings separated by wax paper.  The 1-2 slices thawed quickly enough for a sandwich for lunch that day.  I do chop up green peppers and onions and freeze for cooking.  They loose their crunchiness when thawed but they still add flavor to sloppy jo’s, meatloafs and chili.  My mom always said coffee stays fresher if kept refrigerated so we always had a can of coffee in the fridge.

When I cook I like to make extras of most dishes and freeze for another meal.  Things with sour cream like Strogonoff don’t freeze well though.  Don likes a roast every Sunday.  He said it’s one of his few pleasant family memories from childhood so I fix a roast one Sunday with gravy and potatoes and freeze the leftovers.  On Leftover Sunday I pull everything out of the freezer in the morning so it will thaw and the gravy and potatoes heat up well and I’ll wrap the sliced roast in foil and stick in the toaster oven for about 30 minutes.

I saw on Days Cafe that she’s scheduled to return in December so it sounds like she’s coming and going for brief periods only.  At least it’s not like other characters they’ve brought back to have them sitting on the sidelines or fill-in’s but they could bring her back for more than being an interferring snob like she is with Carly and Bo.

Perhaps they’re going to write Caroline as having the early stages of Alzheimers.  I remember before my uncle was diagnosed he had a personality change.  Once easy going, hardly ever saw him upset or mad about anything and suddenly the slightest thing set him off.  He became obsessed over the checkbook and was always counting his money.  When my aunt finally saw the bank balance she was shocked that their entire savings was gone and had no idea what he’d done with it.

This discussion reminds me, last week my sister-in-law called. They live on 9 acres and set out glue traps to catch a mouse.  Her husband checked the trap in the laundry room and they not only had a mouse but a live rattlesnake.  He didn’t know what to do so he scooped it into a bowl and stuck it in the freezer to kill it.  The exterminator came a few days later and corrected him.  It wasn’t a rattlesnake but a water moccosin.  Guess it came from the 1 acre lake they have in the front of the house.  The exterminator said it was probably after the mouse.
