ParticipantI use to know a couple and when we’d go to weddings or semi formal affairs his tie and pocket square always matched his wife’s outfit. They looked so cute together.

ParticipantI don’t think he has the gun, he just has enough informatin from the tape that he can say he’s got it and where he found it.

ParticipantSami is more conniving and emotion driven on revenge but she does have some that she won’t touch such as those she loves. EJ is more diabolocal and even though his evilness is driven by emotion he doesn’t care who it is he hurts, his father, the woman he says he loves or some Jo Schmo walking down the street and EJ can be more dangerous.

ParticipantI agree about the loss of disraspect for elders.
When I was younger all of my parent’s friends were Mr. and Mrs. My friend’s parents were Mr. and Mrs. There was a respect that came with that title, even if you didn’t like the person you had a respect for the title. Now kids call all adults by their first name and that puts them on even ground with their elders so that respect isn’t there anymore.
If I got in trouble at school when I came home the first question my mom would ask "what did you do to deserve it?" If my parents had a problem with a teacher’s treatment of me I never knew it as it was discussed in private. Now if a kid gets in trouble at school or the teacher looks at the kid crosseyed the parents are ready to attack the teacher. "How dare he treat my little darling like that" The parents don’t have any respect for those in authority so why should the kids.
Parents are too afraid of their kids not liking them and wanting them to be their friends. Tell you what, the time to be a friend will come AFTER you raise your little darling to be a contributing, well mannered member of society. Until then be a parent.
Off my soapbox now.

ParticipantI always liked Jack and he was good comedic relief for a while until they turned him into a baffoon that was always on laugh away from a 3 ring circus. If they can’t write anything decent for Jack besides making him a joke then I say keep him out of Salem until they can do better.

ParticipantPerhaps this will be another move to protect his family. He married her to keep her from hurting Carly and as a result Bo from killing her, so he was protecting Bo. Since Brady was the one that put her in the sarcagophus this may be her payment for not hurting Brady or going to the cops with it or he may do it to keep her away from Maggie.

ParticipantI remember when Marlena either had DJ or the twins she was at a gathering and was having contractions throughout but didn’t tell anybody. It was later when she had a contraction that wasn’t quite as subtle as they had been but NOTHING like the 0-60 you described that she decided she’d better go to the hospital. That was the last time someone had a baby in a hospital with what seemed like a normal progression to birth.

ParticipantI realized this morning it’s not food he wants but he has to have a bm. He got me up at 4 and ate the treats but still wouldn’t settle down. I finally decided I couldn’t wait and got up but had to hit the bathroom first. I put him down and as soon as I did he relieved himself then calmed down. He went back to sleep and didn’t eat until 6am.
So, now he’ll still urinate in the crate but nothing else. If only I could get him to wait a bit longer on that also. I just took him out (10pm) but he did nothing. He was really sniffing but then Don let the other dogs out and it was play time. The other dogs did their business but not Rascal. All he did was run, jump and bark.

ParticipantI don’t know about Caroline but Stephanie had broken into Chloe and Daniel’s apartment and was hiding in a closet when Chloe and Philip were discussing it. That’s how she found out there was a paternity test and what name Chloe had used.

ParticipantHe did sleep a little longer today. 4am. I realize now he’s not whining and active in the morning because he’s hungry, he has to go potty. I was going to take him out and feed him but stopped in the bathroom first. Put him on the floor and first thing he did was have a bm. He didn’t want to go in his crate. He’ll pee in there but nothing else and that was the last 2 mornings. Now I just have to get him to not do it in the house period. But a week isn’t that long a time with a guy who’s only 9 weeks old.
Earlier he was outside playing with Ellie and taking the bones from her stash she has behind the storage shed. He’d drag one out and she’d watch then when he’d drop it she’d grab it and take it back to her hiding place and he’d come out with another one. When I felt it was time to come in Ellie came no problem, but she usually does when I open the door. Rascal had other things on his mind and he tried to run away from me. Even though he’s not fast he’s still faster than old arthritic legs can move and when I yelled his name Ellie ran and knocked him down and held him with her nose. I got there and before I could pick him up he took off again. When I yelled his name Ellie ran and knocked him down again and held him with her paw. Again he rat off before I could pick him up. The last time Ellie knocked him down I was able to pick him up and we were able to go inside. Ellie’s now my little Nanny Dog.

ParticipantWe had Buddy from 6 weeks old until he died of kidney failure at 2 1/2. His teeth were in great shape and never cleaned. We got Ellie when she was 2 and she’d spent the second year of her life in a shelter. Her teeth are great. Stretch we got when she was 6 from my SIL and her teeth are aweful. My SIL had a poodle that was almost toothless when she died and her chihuahua has the worse breath you’d evern been around. We’re wondering if it’s something in the food she would feed them or all the table scraps they got since it seems funny that 3 dogs that were raised together all have bad teeth.

ParticipantWe do have food out for our other dogs and they graze all day. Rascal will eat all his food then head for their dish and I have to stop him. I have found a treat shuts him up for a bit when he’s going nuts and I need some quiet like this morning when I was trying to eat breakfast and Don was out cutting the back grass. Last cut of the year but now it’s easier for the little guy to get around.
After I ate and Don finished the yard I took all 3 outside and they were hilarious. As soon as I brought them in Rascal crashed so they really give him a good workout. Now if we could get them to do that around 10pm he might sleep until 5.

ParticipantHe’s not so sweet when he wakes up at 3am and wants to eat NOW. He starts with a little whimper and if ignored it gets louder and louder you can hear him across the house. Usually I can put him on a towel in bed with me and he’ll quiet down until around 5am but not this morning. The papers I got after his shots said he may be lethergic and after dinner he crashed only waking to whimper a bit and when I’d pick him up he’d snuggle and go back to sleep. I knew I’d be in trouble. At 3 I woke up and looked at the clock and no noise from his crate. I laid there thinkint he’s slept an awfully long time, maybe he had a reaction and died. I never remeber Buddy being like this after his shots BUT the breeder had given him his first set before I got him. At 3:45 Rascal woke and was so hungry I couln’t do anything to stop him from trying to eat my fingers. His little head was butting and searching for something and he wasn’t stopping. After 20 minutes of fighting with him to quiet down I ended up feeding him. After he ate he laid down and went back to sleep. Problem was, I was now wide awake. After Don got up I did go back to bed for a couple of hours though.

ParticipantMy husband’s always saying if we win the lotto we’d buy a LOT Of land and adopt a lot of dogs, maybe have a pet rescue. My 21 year old cousin is a certified pet groomer and we’d bring her out to help with the dogs. Find a vet to retain for them all. But as I remind him, we have to actually start buying the tickets to have any chance at all of winning.
We live in Alabama and there’s no lottery here but we’re 30 minutes away from both Florida and Georgia and have driven both directions to get tickets in the past.
