VERY disappointed in the lack of attendance at these weddings. Having the strangers there just makes it even more noticeable.
Not to mention – everyone thinks Julie is having some sort of heart attack and there is Valerie, a DOCTOR, standing there with her mouth gaping! Eli had to yell Mom, do something!! Such a bizarre scene all around.
… that John knows what’s up? When Steve hit him over the head and he was slumped over passed out, I was thinking he might not be passed out and could be listening to him and Gina talk. They were speaking openly and pretty much laying out the entire plan. I think maybe he heard them and could be playing along!
Oh dear God in heaven, please no. I cannot STAND her Princess Gina accent!!! It’s soooooo bad. Please, just no.
I was thinking the exact same thing when I heard that. He’s gotta be about a year old now. He was 6 months old when Rafe brought him back from California and that was a while ago.
Record a 1-year-old babbling or blowing raspberries! How hard is that??
I’m glad they acknowledged the holiday and had the families together, but hardly anyone was dressed for a BBQ!! They should’ve been dressed in shorts and t-shirts, not blazers, long sleeves and pantsuits!! That bothered me.
I was also hoping for more flashbacks, but I really loved the episode and thought everyone did a great job. You could tell their true feelings for Peggy were coming through.
She is such a great actress, one of the best on the show IMO. She had me crying several times last week right along with her. I think her appearance is realistic for the situation… I always laugh when someone is going thru hell (losing a child, a missing child, death of a loved one) and yet they are in perfect hair/makeup and a stylish dress or fancy outfit with accessories. I’m looking at you, Chloe!!!!!
I agree as well, the actors have great chemistry, but I also agree with a previous poster that they should have gone with a slow burn with these two. They jumped into bed way too quickly. It would’ve had a lot more impact if they went on for a while trying to fight their attraction.
I loved them at first, too. But I knew the issue of Rafe wanting children would come back to haunt them at some point.
I have to roll my eyes nonstop during these scenes. Such a tired, overdone storyline. What people at this age would bother with such things???
