protested more during the rape? My problem with her is she is opposite the character of Ciara (btw what is the spelling?) as a child. Lauren was spicey and bold and so much more interesting. I don’t see this actress “carrying on the Bo mantle” at all. A kid of Bo and Hope should be feisty. When she first came on with daring to steal a jacket, I thought she would continue in that saucy way. But this Ciara is generally sleepwalking through the role. I understand all she has gone through with losing her father, the Aiden incident, etc, but that should only intensify her behavior.
She does resemble KS though and maybe she’s patterning herself after that similarly low key actress.the result of too many characters. The potentially most interesting SL is Jennifer’s pill addiction, yet we haven’t seen much of it.
If this was supposed to be Feb sweeps, I’m not dancing in the aisles. Days has been just trudging along, nothing spectacular. I hate hate Ava and I don’t get why Days continues on with her. Yes, JJ is pretty hapless so far as a cop. I keep hoping Summer will offer something exciting but so far unimpressed. I want Chase to go away and Andre has been a big disappointment. Rafe and Hope too much togetherness without me quaking in my boots about the Stef murder.
What happened to the promise of this show just a few months back?if Steve had fessed up right away would it make any difference? He should have had Kayla remember how desperate she was in that storage box. Or he should have turned the tables and made Kayla ponder what she would have done had Ava been holding Steve. Ava would have kept stalling day after day I think had Steve not budged.
the club was supposed to be for Claire. That is both dumb and irresponsible. She’s not even legal to have a liquor license! Why not help Claire pursue singing – unless Belle intends to have her daughter performing there. But are minors even allowed to be in clubs?
would Rafe be if it wasn’t his love Hope but any other good Salem citizen that he knew killed Andre? And remember Rafe was already kicked off the force and for a cop to deliberately cover up a murder is certainly grounds to remove him forever.
I do not enjoy this SL for both parties’ behaviors. And I’m growing tired of Rafe and Hope joined at the hip.I know it always comes from a place of not wanting to hurt Kayla, but as you say it ends up being far more devastating. Why couldn’t he just say he feared Ava would leave her for dead if he didn’t go through with it?
Belle really annoys me. What’s her motivation for her atrocious behavior? I mean lots of couples have bad breakups and they don’t act out like her.comes from the parents and their leniency in raising kids these days. And children are far too exposed/ involved in issues that should be reserved for adults only. And tv doesn’t help by showing kids as wisecrackers and parents as pathetic butt of jokes.
for the character of Chase so would be glad to see him go. But if the real Aiden comes back wouldn’t Chase be in the picture too? I guess they could either arrest him or put him in some kind of counseling facility.
If it were me I’d have quite a time dropping those horrible memories and accepting this was the “old” Aiden.
if he would return full time? I could see him as a ghost or image if it’s just a temporary thing but otherwise I can’t imagine Days would turn him into another character since he’s not been gone that long. But with this show who can resurrect the dead, anything’s possible.
