is worried Brady would go ballistic and Scooter would rat out Nicole and their on the run adventure would be over, along with losing Holly. But I agree why not just tell Brady? It’s just to play out another ridiculous plot. Although at least it might serve to add some life to this less than interesting SL.
case of a wasted character. A. Martinez never showed the acting acumen, and more importantly the popularity/attraction he had on Santa Barbara. Eddie should have been a complex and interesting character but Days never quite fleshed him out. It was only lately that we saw some emotion from Eduardo and I would have liked a full blown romance with Kate. This current writing team seems frequently lost in this show’s direction.
and anticipating this baby for years, the payoff was a whimper. This should have been a joyous time for Nicole and the viewers celebrating with her. Instead we get Brady pressuring her at a time when this is not the focus. Just awful writing.
And yes, the old Nicole would have let Mr. Porno have it!into this pair. Part of it is Nicole is not all in which is why I’m not buying the “romance.” You are right – it does seem all forced. Also, a SL like this which should be filled with tension and drama just leaves me cold. I don’t like the neighbors either. I’d rather watch Nicole with Holly by herself.
Please Days, cut loose half the characters on this show! The teen set is beyond boredom and there is such a bloated cast that days can go by without addressing their SLs which only adds to the forgetable factor. Maybe things will start percolating when Tripp discovers just who killed his mother.

there is a “pack mentality” on some of these overtly negative boards. They all join in – sometimes outrageously so – either just for a sake of contrariness and/or superiority. A kind of “mean girls” approach. I mean it’s really kind of silly for those posters to be genuinely that explosive with some of their content. If they hate characters that much why tune in?
