is not everyone’s cup of tea. I can absolutely understand fan turnoff due to her OTT portrayal, but because I’ve watched since the 60s I’m used to it, and moreover feel sometimes this draggy show could use her fireworks attitude. But she does get holier than thou which can be a pain.
I would love to sit around the table when the Days brass/writers discuss these SLs and see how on earth any of them can applaud Hattie and Bonnie and how cartoonish they come across. Do they really feel this the kind of direction and entertainment we viewers tune in for?when Days murder or other mysteries were credible and kept you on the edge of your seat. But coming up with another would be killer every day is not a good solid SL. It gets ridiculous and comes across to me as pretty inept writing. Where’s the beef on this show?
much of a Viv fan but I loved the dynamic duo aspect with Ivan. I haven’t found much success with these older former cast members’ return. But with the fodder we’ve gotten lately this might be a bright spot.
SLs are moving along quicker and I’m willing to wait to see how the new ideas kick in. But yeah, a lot is still tedious.
When Nicole said she had t get dressed for the cs I couldn’t believe her choice! Who even would think of that outfit?
Bonnie, but it does seem quite weird that both she and Hattie are ringers for Adrienne and Marlena. It does look like both actresses are having a blast with their depictions.
on the new writers it’s not an auspicious beginning. This is like jr high mentality and J&M are far better than that. I find Angelica – or should I say Ms. Fairchild’s take on her – so unnatural and uncomfortable to watch.
with today’s depiction. That’s more what I expect – the not making eye contact. It’s just that overall I haven’t seen as much of this with Theo as we saw earlier on. Maybe it has something to do with child to adult?
to revert back to stupid Abby. That she thinks just because Dario loves her, he will miraculously drop his nefarious ways simply because she asks. Will this fool ever learn??
JL just because of his lowkey acting and Dario I never took to. If Joey goes to jail (and given the circumstances I can’t see it) then I wonder how Steve and Kayla will escape blame for the coverup?
The girl hasn’t left yet and when Joey said he would miss her (what an idiot he continues to be – what’s to miss?) it made me wonder whether she really will leave town. And is she on the brink of spilling the beans regarding who killed Trip’s mom? I would like to see a final confrontation that reveals her true nature to dumbo Joey once and for all.
