of the best relationships going on Days right now. Especially considering Marlena historically has not had much to do with her grandkids. I think both actors make each other shine in these scenes. Chandler’s performance has got to be awards material!
the silver lining for me – to see Sami totally brought to her knees. Talk about someone needing a wakeup call!
the plus side of the new Days for me. I loved the family gathering w/Doug and Julie (my favs) and although John’s lightning fast exoneration was a bit hard to believe, I am willing to accept it for Christmas.
I wanted to see a little groveling by Sami as far as John went, but overall loved the episode. And didn’t Rafe look quite handsome today!This time I do think the voters got it right. Although I love Josh, Melanie has the recording contract type of voice that I think will do quite well. We’ll see how far she can go.
And speaking of winners, what ever happened to Idol’s Kris Allen?How could this be? Yes, I know about Days’ lack of time sense, but EJ is what – like 27ish at the youngest? Hope would have to be minimum late 40s to make this believable.
And yet, we’ve seen a few small hints that something may be brewing in a Hope/John connection w/ the IOU story. Or else why would Stef bring it up and Hope and Bo touch on it a couple times?need to go to Alice for help in saving EJ? Why her and exactly how did she help ? What was wrong w/EJ that was such a big deal and why the secrecy? Unless Alice knew something, like EJ’s parents weren’t who everyone thought?
I haven’t seen entire episodes so were any of these questions addressed?
