today’s episode was better. Chloe returning? Is this speculation or a spoiler?

I always like jobs to go to those who are really in need.

and how cool would it be to have a Prez like the one Ford portrayed. I’m looking for a leader – someone with convictions, a firm stand on issues, a guy you would gladly follow up the hill or into the trenches. Is there anyone out there like that?
I’ve always liked Israeli PM Netanyahu (sp). No wishywashy guy there.

kind of “removed” from any real emotional ties. I didn’t buy it she was Nick’s mom. But then in fairness not much dialog or interaction to go on.

of Lucas remaining if he’s just going to be an outsider? Maybe there’s something brewing for him.
As for “stepping up and supporting DOOL,” tv is a product like anything else. I would not unconditionally remain a viewer if I’m getting boring, listless entertainment like the way Days was going there for awhile. I’m glad ratings are rebounding and hope it’s not a temporary boost just due to viewer curiosity. Days now needs to put out good drama to keep the people tuning in.

and I likely wouldn’t have tuned in had I not heard he was going to “speak.” Yes, he was awkward and stumbling but he tossed out his prepared speech and delivered everything off the cuff. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
And yes, could the network correspondants be any more obvious in their anti-Republican stance? It wouldn’t be so bad if they practiced equal opportunity biais, but the media in general is blatantly liberal-minded.
I too would have liked to see Romney focus on how he’s going to change things in DC but supposedly he was worried that the American people needed to know more about him at this point. If Mitt wants to win he’s got to harp on what’s wrong with the country and how he’s the guy who’s going to right the ship. And act like a leader.

and I didn’t even watch the last ten minutes. Must we always have Nicole plotting for a guy? Surely there are more involving SLs. Now if it should turn out say Johnny is not EJ’s would make it more interesting. If EJ is going to go after the baby then let’s see some high drama. And these same ol’ conversations with or about Sami and how self-destructive she is and how this poor child simply “cannot” change! (I did think Sami looked quite smashing in that blue and white outfit and braided hair.)
Mel is even grating on my nerves with her Ms. Noble attitude and always overthinking everything.
Let’s step up the pace writers!!

on Johnny. How do you explain to a kid that age that his dad really isn’t? But I agree it would add to the intensity of EJ going after his child if it is a boy.

He’s such a downer with low energy. I’m hoping it’s simply the prison atmosphere and his situation and once he gets sprung he’ll amp it up. If Days wanted to add more family ties they could have gone many different directions. I don’t see why Nick Fallon is such a draw. But I’m keeping an open mind that maybe the Nick w/the rapier wit we first saw will return.

about either candidate. Romney for me is missing the boat by failing to capitalize on Obama’s less than glowing record/policies. I predict our sitting Prez will be in for another term. I will be shocked if that doesn’t happen.

he was introduced as a nerdy but oddly interesting character with a sarcastic, intelligent wit – much like Chloe’s Ghoul Girl. But they watered down both characters and both became more unwatchable for me.
I don’t view Nick as a big draw, but am hoping for better this time around.

Republican Convention is getting the short end of the stick. Doesn’t seem fair they have to cram in everything in one less day and the storm will take up more of the focus.

I used to love Emergency Vets on AP and this would be right up my alley. Lucky you!

is she’s young and probably hasn’t had to struggle. So far opportunities have likely come her way, so she’s not worried. And I can see if she has a vocal talent would want to pursue it. But yeah, we “older” folk would certainly be thinking of a sure, or at least for the moment – steady thing!

And so great to see Maxine back – hope to see more!
I just don’t get why Gabi gets to stay. Not even so much what she did but she’s a hohum character for me.
