Participantthat with these gay SLs – not just on Days but so pervasive now in all of entertainment – are unreflective of the population stats. The best figures and studies suggest gays make up no more than 1.7-4% of the population. Yet you’d think from watching film and tv it would be so much higher. Of course, the concentration of gays is higher in the arts/entertainment world so that is a factor.

Participanthis parting scene w/Hope will bring the tears for sure on both sides. Is it possible PR requested a no frills departure? Or does Days think by underplaying it and leaving it open for his return will soften any backlash by fans?
But yeah, it’s very unrealistic that Bo leaving to accompany his mom for treatment would give way to these goodbyes that sure look permanent.casey
Participantthe other actor who played Bo – Robert Kelker-Kelly – is doing now? I did not mind him in the role.

Participantbut I see John ultimately caving. We’re seeing this right from the getgo with his flashbacks and “bonding” w/her with that little girl.
That Kristen decided to return now after all these years should make every Salemite suspicous.
Even though I’m not crazy about the character, ED’s high level of acting is a pleasure to watch.casey
Participantjust a reference to the ties/identity Bo has had since the beginning w/motorcyles. I can hardly believe he’d plank his 80-some yr old mom with dementia problems on a bike.
Seeing the revolving door of Days stars come and go and back again, I can’t imagine they would burn bridges on such a fan fav. I do think knocking off Bo would turn off many viewers for good.
My question is: what will Hope do?casey
ParticipantI have seen no evidence to the contrary and it wouldn’t make much drama for her to be reformed. She’s out to sever as many relationships as she can.

ParticipantIs this a spoiler?

ParticipantYou usually don’t associate hurricanes with upstate NY but this one could take a sharp turn and cause massive flooding in my area. In fact, the weather people are calling it a possible “unprecedented event.” I am dreading this one and pray it veers off course.

Participantis that period where you still have some memory but are aware of your mind going. That to me would be agonizing. I know how frustrating it is just when I can’t recall names at times.
I always think of that letter Ronald Reagan wrote when he knew his ultimate fate. So touching and heartbreaking.casey
Participantthis dementia SL because A)Peggy M is doing a great job,
It’s a condition that in some way most of us have ties to, and C) Days is only scratching the surface here. Not to mention I’ve more interest in this SL than most on this show.

ParticipantI don’t want her to sniggle out of this and have people feel sorry for her/give her a pass. To put an innocent party up on a murder rap is a big deal. Not only is she lying about the accident but she planned to at least harm Jenn with that scalpel.

Participanthandle the role and maybe I’ll appreciate her more this time around. But I just don’t like the idea of her breaking up John and Marlena.

Participantat least from a color standpoint and I like seeing a less surly T. though it doesn’t seem to fit the character.

Participantif this is a murder rap no autopsy would be made. Are you kidding?

ParticipantMy collie Nessa is expecting her first litter within the week and I’m very anxious as this is my first experience. I just pray nothing goes wrong.
