I would get the gist of the scenes and then hit FF.  EJ’s character is so despicable I can’t watch, plus the blinking drives me nuts.  Seems to me the doctors could intervene on who gets to see Johnny and/or who stays.  I also agree that Vivian was ridiculous today.  And what was that comment from the prisoner to the warden – you liked her because she has blond hair – is the warden suppose to be a lesbian?  Could this prison story get any worse?

I’ve been to Wilmington.  Our former neighbors live there.  She and her husband (mainly she) have a shop called "For a Song and a Story" which sells musical instruments, books, music stuff and gives lessons.  But I can’t find anything in any of the posts above which say what there is in Wilmington that I surely must have missed on a trip I took with my church women’s group last year.  And we were given a guided tour by a Wilmington native.  So, what is in Wilmington, OH?

But did I almost see her drop the baby as she was picking him up?   I was not paying close attention but she had a rather sheepish look on her face – don’t think that was part of the script.

Your comments, as always, are spot on!  Or let’s say, I, at least agree with you.  I will have to say that the Johnny character is getting better, or maybe that one twin is a better actor than the other.  I definitely agree with your assessment about James Scott.  I said that in another post somewhere that I wish his hair would grow out soon.  Don’t know if you are a Desperate Housewives fan, but the actor who plays Paul Young makes that character truly despicable and I believe he’s going to get what he deserves very soon.  Wish I could say the same about the EJ character.  Ali & James are both just overly dramatic.  We need a break.   By the way, would an eye issue be identified by a teen from just looking at a photo?  I have many photos in which the eyes are red, white, glaring, etc.  A lot has to do with the camera, angle and photographer.

All I could think after watching today’s show is Fiddler on the Roof and the song Traditions! only change it to Conditions!

Stephano giving Kate the conditions for taking her back, EJ giving Nicole the conditions for seeing Sydney.  EJ giving Sami the conditions for not seeing her children.  It’s all such bull!  Who wants to stay in such a relationship?  I would hope that I would never have to lay such conditions down to anyone in my family.   Stephano and EJ are so smug and self righteous.  And I wish his hair would grow back quickly because this "do" is so unbecoming – his head and neck are the same size.  I hope Kate, who I usually can’t stand, brings Stephano to his knees.  And this crap with Caroline – she’s gone off her rocker.  And Stephanie just can’t let it go – give it up Stephanie and move on (or better yet off the show).  And how convenient that Sami and Rafe come through the park when EJ and Nicole are there.  What kid wouldn’t run up to his Mom if he hadn’t seen her for days?  Today’s show just aggravated me almost in it’s entirety…  except for the camera angle with Daniel and Chloe looking at the package.  I thought that was great!  I sure wish Prevuze could get someone to help them.  I really miss knowing what’s ahead so I don’t have to watch!

Don’t know if you were/are a writer as a profession, but your assessments of what you are watching on DOOL are always spot-on, plus you say it with eloquence.  I always enjoy reading your posts.

I guess I’m in the minority here, but I don’t care for him. Cute kid, but I don’t find him convincing at all – like someone is off stage feeding him lines and then when he speaks them he rushes through and looks for someone for assurance.  Especially his line when EJ was taking him away from Sami.  I know he’s a little kid, but I’ve seen better.

So many comments I just can’t decide who to respond to.   The thing of it is, we all know it’s a rating game, but this particular one has really gone on longer than most.  I didn’t watch DWTS this time around because, frankly, I didn’t know any of the people well enough to want to root for any of them.  I was glued to my set when Apolo Anton Ohno danced and that hunky gorgeous guy who’s on Brother and Sisters.  That being said, I have read the hype and the fallout of Bristol Palin ending up in the finals.  My husband and I had a discussion about this and my comment to him was why Bristol was even picked to dance in the first place (had her Mom not been in the public light because of politics, she would be some girl from Alaska that no one had ever heard of (except if you lived in Alaska).  So politics got her on the show.  Having watched several other seasons, yes, some of the bad dancers did go further than expected (Kate Gosselin stands out).  I remember how Kate G. always danced at the end of the show so people would keep watching.  But viewers do finally see the light and usually they quit voting for them (i.e., Cloris Leachman) and the best man/woman usually wins out.  So, I’m not watching the finale as I’m not invested in this season at all, but I’m sure the internet will be abuzz if Bristol does win.

Even though I watch very little of the show, I keep up with it on-line. That being said,  I did watch Friday’s show because I wanted to see Kate’s jogging suit everyone was talking about (pretty ridiculous) so also got to witness the Nicole/Sami fight.  When Rafe came in I could have smacked Sami – so self righteous – "My man’s is going to take care of all of this for me."  I know she’s a character, but I just don’t see why all the men fawn over her.  I’m really ready for her to switch places in prison with Hope and get her off the screen for a couple months.  Get a new storyline going with yhe other  characters.  I just read the Corday interview.  He must be living in a box because I truly don’t get how he feesl so confident about the storylines in the show.  Maybe I’m just getting too old and cynical to enjoy a soap.

The little bit I watched yesterday she hadn’t even mussed her makeup.  At least today they had her looking a little more like she was working at birthing the kid.  I don’t think I sweat quite that much with either of my kids, but they tried to make it a bit more realistic.  Chubby little thing for being 4 weeks early, but that’s to be expected.  I’m sure the budget doesn’t allow for a younger baby.  And now everyone’s like "Aw, gee whiz, he’s so cute and (after all those weeks of stupid dialog), I’ve decided not to tell the big secret afterall."

None of the little ones are in the picture (Theo, Ciara, twins, etc).  And  why, just once, couldn’t Chloe look "normal" – relaxed like the others and not showing her boobs?

He comes off as very arrogant to me in his Throwdown show.  Why can’t he just let the people be the best they are at what they do?  Why does he have to be better?  After he gives the challenge, it takes a team of people to come up with what he thinks is a better way of cooking something.  And yet the people who have been challenged seem delighted to see him.  I suppose it’s good advertising for them and they probably get paid something for doing it.  But my opinion of Bobby Flay is to turn him off.

I was actually surprised at the winner because the judges seem to always go for flashier designs.  I thought Gretchen’s clothes were nice (especially the jewelry) but as Heidi pointed out it wasn’t a jewelry show.  I forwarded through some of their arguments for and against, so I could get to the end.  It seemed like a long drawn out show, especially bringing back the former designers.  Ivy should really be pegged the "bitch overall", altho Gretchen for me still remains a close second!  Michael C. just looked dejected.  Funny, I barely remembered most/some of the earlier designers.  Don’t really know when this was filmed but I thought Jessica Simpson looked pregnant, hence the puffy look.

I was surprised by Andy’s designs – they were lovely but really lacked color – except for the green which I really, really loved.  Oh well, it’s over for another season.  I’m still not sure why I get so caught up in this show, but I love it.   That and Say Yes to the Dress, which my husband shakes his head every time – "not this again."  I like the new one "Big Bliss"- it’s good that these brides feel good in their skin.  I’m a size 14-16 in the waist and can wear a 12 in the butt so shopping for pants is a real pain.  I can’t imagine trying on a wedding dress and pulling on the sample sizes over ample bodies.  I’m rambling!

I just spent 5 minutes typing a reply and my screen erased it – it must have timed itself out!  I felt bad for Michael C. but he did really go over the top with the sobbing.  I hope Gretchen doesn’t win either – that underwear she showed Tim was really awful.  I’m not sure I liked any of the clothing as well as it past seasons.  Maybe when they’re on the actual runway they’ll look better.  I thought the dress Mondo made with the large "bubbles" was pretty crazy.  One would have to be pencil thin to wear it.  – no bulges – leaves me out!   Again, I think the judges were pretty cruel.   Some of Michael Kors’ designs to me are butt ugly but he’s still pretty judgemental.  Can’t wait to see next week’s show!
