I, for one, would love to have some of her jewelery and clothes. Even with her over the top sometimes style – it works for her. For a woman of her age, (58) Lauren is gorgeous!
That being said though, I think it would be a real lollapaloozer knockout punch to find out that your parents weren’t really your parents as she did, (plus having to deal with the Trent thing), so I can see a bit why she is clingy to Daniel – and some what of a "daddy’s" girl and very protective of Daniel.
And also, being how she’s never grown up, don’t most "children" want their parents to be together? I think deep down, her dislike or hatred of Chloe is because she wants to mend the family and have Mommy and Daddy together, so it will bring her own little perfect world together.
Too bad for little Melly that her world is going to come crashing down in a crumbled heap when she finds out who Chloe cheated on her father with. I don’t think, as fragile and as upset as she is right now, she can survive when she finds that little secret out.
