I’ve seen spoilers/rumors that Laura pretended to be Jack’s secretary and paid off Gwen’s mom. That doesn’t seem to make sense. Where would she get all that money? How would she have found out? Wasn’t this before Jack even came to Salem?? Also, Gwen said her mother came to Salem to see Jack – obviously that didn’t happen either as Jack has no memory of that or even her mother’s name etc. There has to be something more going on.
Maybe it’s another scandal from Harper? I find it hard to believe though that he would want an heir to be sent away. He was always talking about wanting to create a Deveraux dynasty. There’s no possible way Laura should have anything to do with this storyline, not without some major rewriting of history.
Laura is coming back for the Gwen storyline. And yes, I heard a spoiler that she was the person paying off Gwen’s mom. I keep saying we need a timeline guide book, because none of this makes sense time wise.
Nope, Laura was in the sanitarium (very well documented storyline) up until Abigail was at least 3-5 years old. Gwen supposedly is older than Abby and this all happened before Jack came to Salem. Therefore, Laura was at sanitarium during all of this. I really wish the writers would do their homework and not insult long time viewers.
