    Is it Carly?  I can’t remember, but that just doesn’t seem right.  I’m having a "senior moment"!

     she was told by Vivian that her child died during childbirth.  Vivian actually raised him until he was like 10 when he finally learned who his parents were.  Carly had him when she was only a teenager.  I’m not really sure what happened with Lawrence (as in the circumstances around her pregnancy) as later she wanted nothing to do with Lawrence and changed her name etc. to hide from him and the arranged marriage that her father and his father arranged.

    an affair with Kate.  I just can imagine Carly being his mother.  He had to be in his thirties when they had an affair, right?  Has she told Mel that she has a brother?

    It is the same Nicholas but I’d say he was probably late 20’s when he was last in Salem during his affair with Kate.  Carly had Nicholas when she was a teen.
