I know she’s a doctor, but Lani is not her patient. Couldn’t she lose her license to practice by doing what she did. Seems like it’s quite unethical, especially since she’s snooping for selfish reasons, not because there are health issues at stake.
I know it can happen for nurses, the nursing boards are very strict, but often doctors can get away with stuff that other medical people can’t. I knew a nurse that was caught doing liposuction on paatients in a doctor’s office. She did jail time for practicing medicine without a iicense and lost her nursing license. He was repremended.
It is highly unethical for Valerie to look at Lani’s records, and under HIPPA no one but Lani can give that info and Kayla should not have left the chart out.
take her to task if I were Kayla. This snooping wouldn’t even be excused under “medical reasons” as this is merely for a private revelation and a family one at that.
Eli also is not a minor and needs no protection from Mommy. I think it’s abhorable what Val did and she should come before the board. I’m no fan of Valerie to begin with.
