Wasn’t it last year that there were spoilers about a bunch of people coming back from the dead, and then it turned out to be just the Halloween hoax episode?
Is it possible that the big time jump is going to be the same kind of thing?
From what I’ve heard, they’ve also decided to put the cast on a four month hiatus so that they’ll only be shooting two months ahead of airing, instead of six. This way they can make adjustments quicker with fewer leaks to the public, too. I’m guessing once they do the time jump, it will be easier to change storylines that didn’t work out well.
So this time jump is supposed to be real just so the writers can advance the story and change the taping schedule?
This isn’t the work of Rolf or someone’s dream or some other part of a storyline?
I’m all for it if it means less time for the Princess Gina storyline! Maybe she’ll be written off during the time jump and sent to a castle somewhere overseas (without John) LOL
that the time jump and Princess Gina are connected and Rolf is behind it. Think about the fact that he’s got something on a flash drive he’s so protective over and keeps talking about his work and needing a lab.
It’s really sad that the writers have had to resort to bringing back the Princess Gina storyline just to give Kristian Alfonso something to do on the show. I don’t recall the original storyline being all that popular back in the day, so not sure why all these years later it’s been brought back. It really seems like it’s just an excuse to give Hope some kind of storyline since the pairing with Rafe was a flop. Also gives John & Marlena a storyline but again, another recycled storyline. The other problem here is isn’t Princess Gina dead to the world? Her daughter Greta inherited the crown as I recall. So what purpose does she serve for Rolf? She was an art thief for Stefano, but that was also already exposed to the world years ago. So again, why? And why after all this time does Rolf care about having her around? Just dumb, dumb, dumb. These storylines as of a late are really getting ridiculous.
I was thinking yesterday, is this the best story the can give Hope? You’d think she’d want to go back to the police force or become a PI again. Instead, we get this stupid storyline. Also, I can remember fans clamoring for Rolf to return. What a joke of a character that no one cares about.
Then I guess it’s a tie. And speaking of ties… (Ben walks up).
Marlena had another good line, but I can’t remember what it was.
