What’s up with the pier? does everyone in Salem use it as a pathway to everywhere? Seems creepy to me. All these women walking alone on a pier where we know there are always unsavory types and never random people we don’t recognize there. I know it’s a soap but how often do you all bump into everyone you know every time you turn around?
I live in a town of about 100,000 – not big, not small, have since the sixties. If I go to town to any of the grocery stores, shopping centers, gas stations, the eight Starbucks, etc., on any given day or hour, chances are I am never, ever, never going to run in to folks from church (and it’s a huge church), work (the State – so biggest employer), friends, aquaintances, my dentist/doctor, former school chums – so how come the Pier attracts any and all Salemites at any and all times of the day? Even Sydney’s been to the pier!
A lot of my family is from Morgantown, WV and they are always saying they ran into this person or that person. Or they heard this person was here at this point doing this. I am wondering if Salem is one of those big towns that everyone gossips and everyone knows everyone. That is how I feel when I am in Morgantown. I don’t know how the kids can stand it, because they can never get away with anything without someone in the family finding out – lol
for 15 years and know a lot of people – but I don’t run into the same ones over and over again at Starbucks or the movies and people are certainly not just letting themselves in my house at all hours! I them all meeting up at the Brady Pub, but the pier? Used to be always at the park by that bench…I’m really rambling now! LOL!
Iwonder if Creepy Carly has some kind of mental telepathy. There she was supposedly working in the hospital and the next thing we see is her at the pier. Does she just take off any time she takes a notion to go look for Melanie. The timing was off – because Carly asked about Melanie’s hand before she even hit it on the stair rail.
It is so hard for me to watch Carly. She just literally makes my skin crawl. She seems to be all over the place. Hospital, Maggies, Bo’s, the pier, the Pub, Java Cafe. I wish she would somehow get arrested and put in jail, the maybe she would have to stay in one place. After all, she did kill Lawrence without any consequences for it.
