at Rafe whose one strike at the fire got the flames down. So was it Ben who stole Leo’s car and will get tagged for his murder?

If this is the same cabin Ben held Abigail in, and I recall it was burned in a fire, how was it still standing to begin with? 

BTW, my 13 year old saw this scene and asked me how the fire burned so slowly? This was a bad stretch on Days’ part. No way any of it could have really played out the way it did.

 the biggest damn apology ever made if they find out it was an accident in some way, or better yet if Ciara was the one who caused the fire when she fell or fainted somehow.  I don’t know, but I despise the way Rafe and Hope are acting in these scenes.  I know people have the right to give some serious thought to Ben’s sudden desire to make restitution for his dark ways, plus the fact that he has admitted that he was a serial killer back then, but to withhold his meds the way Rafe and Hope tried to do to get him to confess something he did NOT do was really wrong on their part.  I sort of gave kudos to Ciara for not putting up with their nonsense and giving Ben the benefit of the doubt, even though she had her own suspicions.  I would like to see more of this couple, but please keep Rafe’s and Hope’s noses out of it!

I’m hoping the fire investigators determine that the fire was started by the stove getting too hot, but what’s taking them so long?  I know, I know–some things seem to take forever for the sake of the plot.
