I hope that someone answers this: When they had played up Emily O’Brien’s Gwen, & O’Brien playing Gwen’s mother, Tiffany Rizczech, putting it out there of her 8 year old daughter to Lyn Bauer’s Laura Horton, Laura had brought up that it happened 30 years ago, making it 1991. That means that the character of Gwen was born in 1983, but, the problem is that Emily O’Brien was born 1985.
They did this yet again. I know that Lindsey is an actress & she’s knocking it out of the ballpark of her performance, but once again, the character of Renee DuMonde was played by Sampler in 1981, 7 years before Godfrey’s birth.
So you tell me how anyone can believe that the actress knows about an actress & the character she played that came onto the scene 7 years before Lindsey’s birth ?
Kristin gave her Renee’s journal to read and I believe there was also a book. Sarah was a pile of mush, so to speak, and came to believe she was Renee.
But, what I’m getting at is that too much like when Will was
let to believe that he was EJ, & Enos III’s Roger had brought
up the Scooby-Doo gang can do a lot of tests to prove that he
really is Will, & that Roger had brought up of Will learning
that he really was Will, not EJ. You tell me do we need to see
that with Sarah ?Think about it, Maggie would go ballistic once she finds out
that her daughter believes she’s Anna’s worst nightmare.Then, the viewers today that are watching this now may
have no knowledge of Renee Du Monde, now do they?My question is ok so she read the diary and that with the combination of the drugs makes her think she’s Renee. However, how does she know what anyone in Renee’s life looks like? There’s pictures of everyone from Salem at that point in time? Also, wouldn’t she say “Kayla, you look so much older!” or “Tony! Anna! why are you so old!” Just doesn’t make much sense
What I’m getting at is that Renee may have been Stefano’s daughter, but Chad was never Renee’s long lost brother, because Sampler played the character from 1981 to 1983, Renee was murdered in 1983, two years before Billy Flynn’s birth. I can see that others have told her that Chad is Stefano’s son, but in her mind, she knew all about her father, & when she was battling Anna, was before Billy Flynn was born & yet, she believes that Chad is her brother when the time period of her mind was way before CD played Chad.
It’s like the writers are having Renee jumping from one time frame & leaping into another one, meaning, her history with Anna to the time period as to where others are telling her about Chad, it off-putting.
I’m still trying to figure out why Tony doesn’t tell her he’s Renee’s brother. I thought it was settled that both Andre and Tony were brothers and they both were Stefano’s biological children. I understand that the Renee character thinks that Tony isn’t her biological sibling, but in keeping with the story, he is. So although Tony and Sarah are not siblings, Tony and Renee are and if I were Tony I’d just say, hey I’m your brother so get the heck off of me.
Plus: There’s this to think about. I understand the story being very well done. Hands down to all of the actors involved with this story. I do see drama & suspense of the whole thing, & yes, I’m all for it. But, what I’m getting at is that this is the only offspring that Maggie has left. Do we really need to see two female Stefanos, one being Kristen & the other being Sarah’s Renee DuMonde, given that this Renee is inside Maggie’s daughter’s body ?
Think about it.
I get that the Sarah body isn’t married to anyone. I get that Renee is hopelessly in love with Tony. But, remember, when Will channeled his inner Stefano, given that he was once his mother’s father-in-law, it had his husband leaving him for another continent, didn’t it. Then, when they play up the story that has Sarah being herself again, if they go there, she would be held responsible for her actions & may face prison time for Renee’s crimes, & this woold be used by Gabi to get both Titan & DiMera now wouldn’t it, once she finds out that a Kiriakis believes she’s a DiMera, she would be able to blackmail the DeMira Family, ” GIVE ME THIS COMPANY OR I WILL HAVE ONE Of YOUR OWN BE TOSSED Into The Clink. Do you really think that’s wise to play up, given that it might be coming to light that Gabi’s actions are for nothing, given that Johnny’s possession may end up having her lose everything?
The first victim of the Salem Stalker was Renee DuMonde. I have heard rumors that they are bring this story back in the summer. I have also heard Abigail will be killed off—presumably by the Stalker. Is it possible, if Sarah continues to believe she is Renee, they will make her a victim again and kill her off? I personally don’t think the Renee persona will be around too long, so she’ll either get her memory back and reunite with Xander, or she’ll be killed off believing she is Renee.
Don’t really know why, but this whole story line is driving me crazy and annoying the heck out of me. The actors are doing a great job, but there are still enough holes in the facts to sail a ship through. I think I had just started watching at the tail end of Renee DuMonde, but I have no interest in reliving it. Time has past, she needs to realize it and get over herself.
I can’t see the need to kill Sarah much less, Abigail off. Did they or did they not, bring back Godfrey & Marci’s SaraNee & Abigail, so with bringing them both back with how long they had been on that island, they bring them back to murder them off?
They already had killed of Maggie’s son, Daniel, do you really think that she will survive losing another child, given that she had lost two, meaning, Daniel Jonas her daughter Summer, so is it wise for her to lose another child of her’s, given that she had also lost her adopted daughter, Janice?
Plus, Sarah’s Renee sees Xander as Quinn Redeker’s Alex Marshall. Yet, again, the writers don’t realize that Paul Telfer, the one that plays Xander was 3-4 years old when Redeker played Alex Marshall?
Then they have her believing that Chris Kositchek being the Salem Stalker, when others know that it was Andre DiMera who was. When they played up Marlena’s romance with Roman, John Black & Alex Marshall, that Alex Marshall was played by Wayne Northrop. Don’t you think that it’s highly odd that these writers are negating the show’s history?
Of course they’re negating the history. But if you remember, Sarah saw the pic of her and Xander and she said something like that’s you and Sarah Horton and she didn’t see herself. How the hell would she know what Renee DuMonde looks like? The journal she read that made her believe she was Renee, didn’t come with pictures. For that matter, why would she look and Xander and see Alex Marshall. He was part of Renee’s history, but Sarah doesn’t know what he looks like. Also, the logic of the real Renee being around 65 if she were alive, sorry, but you’d know if you didn’t look 65. Not sure what she is really seeing. The whole story is ridiculous. I’m hoping as the drug that Kristin was giving her, starts to wear off, she’ll start to go back to being Sarah.
The question that I have is that with how long Don Craig has been M.I.A & with how Alex Marshall had went to prison for arson, why is there a need to bring up characters that the younger characters have knowledge of, meaning, Xander for that matter or Abigail as well?
The next question with how long both Alex & Don have been gone for, who would care about them now?
No one remembers them, except the long time viewers. So no one cares about them.
On a side note, Sarenee said she found a lawyer. Want to bet it’s Roman, who she thinks is Chris Kosicek. Now that would actually be funny.
So if no one cares at all about Don Craig & Alex, then why bring them up.
I can see that Saranee thinks that Roman is Chris Kositchek, & yes,
Chris is a lawyer, but still with Roman running his mother’s pub,
& not having a law license, you tell me as to how Saranee would get
him to defend her, given how many people can prove that she’s Sarah?
