The other day Salem itself was the recipient of several cracks on the show. First when Daniel and Carly were talking in the park Carly kept saying "Well it is Salem." in reference to all the crazy things happening.
Later Dr. Baker said "I hate this town" and then he said "It must be something in the water".
They are finally referencing how weird Salem is. How long before they find out about the the Salem tea and the Salem brain?
"Twilight Zone" – I watch it for the non-reality and escapism – but I do admit, the Salemites drive me crazy at times with their logic and goings-on.
After reading this last night I can picture the final episode of DOOL being just like the ending of St. Elsewhere. We show a middle income bedroom with Isaac sitting on his bed drawing pictures of everyone in Salem and find out it was all inside his head or reading a comic book with all of Salem in it and there’s a stack of these comic books on the floor.
That would be the most creative ending they could go with. Doubt the writers would come up with anything better.
