Awww…. I was hoping for more of Bill and Shane & Kimberly….
I wonder if this means Carrie, Kayla, and Jennifer will be on for little while longer though. I wonder what was the big deal with having Shane on for more episodes if it was just going to be for 3 more after the funeral (since there’s no Days on Thursday and Friday).

some of the children would have to stay a little longer to take care of business, such as the estate and paying outstanding funeral expenses.
As for Patsy Pease (Kimberly}, I don’t understand why she was there for the funeral anyway. She was loud, strident, and unpleasant at a time and place where it was uncalled for.
I would like to see more of Shane and also Bill, if possible.

A summary: The head writer was never happy with the way that the Kim/Shane relationship ended. Charles S (Shane) left the show he said when the previous writers had him hitting on Kayla right after Patch was killed off. He didn’t think his character would ever do that. Kim felt the same way about her moving to someone new. So, when they were bringing back former characters and both Shane and Kim were available, she asked the EP Gary Tomlin if she could have them and keep them a little longer to resolve their relationship with a happy ending. He agree and thus the reason that Kim/Shane are sticking around a few extra days. They’ll fight but then agree to leave together for LA to work on their relationship- – getting back together. That’s also why Shane agreed to return.
