I can see as to how Colin had sent the text of watch your back. But he did put it out there didn’t he of the text that Sloan had sent to Paulina & I quote: “Your husband can’t save you” end quote, was that or wasn’t that texted by Sloan for Eric to witness himself before Colin showed up?
Then this, since when was it ever put into the Salem Spectator of what went down involving Sloan’s parents, given that they had played up the civil suit dropped, the extraditing didn’t place & the charges dropped.
With Abe’s heft, & with Paulina’s heft, you tell me as to how Colin is strong enough to lift either one of them by himself?
When Rafe had discovered what crimes Colin had done in the U.K., & brought up that one of them was 5 years ago. Was the character of Colin Bedford entered the futile minds of the writers of 2018?
I don’t recall anything about a text that Sloan sent Paulina, but that could have happened when I was out of the country.
I’m confused about your question about the Salem Spectator. Is it because Colin pretended to be a health inspector and knew a lot about the case and Abe and Paulina didn’t question it?
I agree, Abe and Paulina should have been able to overpower Colin. He wasn’t armed with a gun.
Lastly, all characters come to the show with a background. We don’t have to see the background in real time. We didn’t see them born, but it doesn’t mean they weren’t.
Actually it does, because the characters are mash-ups of Hollywood Couples, like for instance, when they had on Calista Lockhart & Harrison Lord, ( they were a mash-up for Calista Flockhart & Harrison Ford) for when Bonnie brought up to Justin that Harrison was about rape her, we know what Adrienne went through don’t we, & they shifted everything that Adrienne had gone through to give the illusion that Bonnie did to. Meaning, as to when Adrienne was crying on a bench & in came Justin to hand her a handkerchief the exact same way he gave Bonnie when she couldn’t win over StevAyla. Who’s buying Colin’s story of when he & his sister was in Spain with their parents, the story that he dished out to Paulina, given as to when the 2022 writing team concepted the characters, I kind of doubt that the fertile minds of the writing team of 2018 came up with Colin’s British crime spree & then waited for 5 years later to have him act on his Salem crime spree. there was no way that Colin trashed Paulina’s office & left the notes, because the only key that Talia had made was for her apartment with Jada. You tell me as no matter if this is a soap opera or not, you tell me why the writing team put into motion for Helen Keller can see theses massive plot holes?
How Talia got the key to Paulina’s office was not explained well unless we are to assume she had two keys made at the same time: one to the office and one to Jada’s apartment. Of course, she could have had the key to Jada’s place made right after Jada gave it to her and quickly came up with the story of just having it made to cover her tracks.
The writers came up with the Colin storyline and his backstory. The Spain trip is part of his backstory and helps explain how hurt he was when his parents died and his hatred for Paulina and Chanel. His crimes five years ago are part of his backstory. That doesn’t mean the story was written five years ago by the Days writing team, they probably wrote it in 2022 (or thereabouts) as part of this entire storyline.
How can we assume that Talia had the key made to Jada’s apartment, she had two made, Paulina’s trashed office occurred in March, they waited two months & 19 days later for Paulina to learn that it was Colin that done the trashing, so you tell me how he could he have trashed Paulina’s office, left, & then wait a month & 16 days for the viewers first sight of him & then wait 10 days later for him to show up in Salem & then 23 days later of Paulina to put it together as to who did the trashing? How did Talia come up with an explanation of just having it made to cover he tracks, when they guy who made it identified Talia.
The main reason as to why the Spain trip is bullshit, is because the furtile minds of the writers didn’t even have the concept of either one of them before they wrote the story of the Spain trip that Colin had put out there, now did they?
I get that his British crime spree is a part of his backstory, what I’m getting at is that Rafe gave the illusion as to when the British crime spree took place, before the furtile minds of the writing team concepted the character.
Then this: when the characters are mash ups of Hollywood Couples, you think that what a character puts out there of his or her backstory, makes the backstory, TRUE? When you see mash ups of fictional characters, you believe the backstory, in my eyes: NO!
Considering the whole show is fiction, you can write any past you want for a character. I never remember Paulina being mentioned years ago before she came on the show, and I don’t have to. The show is fiction, they can write any character and any event into the storyline in order to make a plot work. This isn’t reality TV.
I know that the whole show is fiction, but is that really the case, given how Helen Keller can even spot the massive holes in the end result? I’m not saying that this show is reality tv at all, but they do have to stop putting in massive holes that even Helen Keller can see, don’t you think?
I guess we’re just different. I just watch and enjoy. I don’t see the massive hole you’re talking about. They’ve made a past for a character and that’s so we get an idea of things. I don’t need to see their whole past played out on the screen.
YOU DON’T, when Rafe had put it out there of Colin’s 5 year old British Crime wave, when the character was concepted a year ago? Then this: When the curio owner that made the key to the Hunter apartment recognized Talia’s photo, the key worked in the Hunter keyhole, but yet Paulina’s office was trashed back in March, when Colin was first seen a month & 16 days later??? ARE YOU BLIND
